Agreed, it looks like we're taking the right measures to get back into it though. There are still quality players around without it, they just need to be found.

Getting Sahin and Tello for a season would be amazing, the midfield of Gerrard, Lucas, Allen, Sahin, Shelvey etc would be our best since the Xabi and Mascha days.

Suarez, Borini, Tello, Downing and Carroll would be decent too.

How would we line up?

sahin lucas and gerrard at cm but what would the front line look like?

If we got Tello and Sahin, we'd definitely have to sell people. Adam and spearing comes to mind
