Luke Cage and Black Panther were based off stereotypes but they do have some very redeeming qualities. Mostly that they are the only sort of mainstream super heroes that were Black to begin with.

Yeah, that was really quite stupid. Not sure what they were thinking. The comic industry is generally pretty bad when it comes to "minorities" (which are actually a majority in the real world, but that's another topic). They really do not know how to handle it.
