Also, why was the bid stated in Euros when that isn't the English or Brazilian currency? I reckon sometimes they must do it to make the fee seem bigger and have more 'shock value'.

If they wanted shock value they could have done it in Brazilian Real. 99M BRL Manchester United FC Official Thread - Page 5 3925848005

Great sit down with Fergie. Worth waiting for. He looks totally releaxed. Looks like he's got everything under control.

Fergie is trying to buy - Baines, RVP, Lucas. But it won't bother him if he doesn't. Won't pay above the odds.

Completely ridiculous list of targets, 3 players who are completely unnecessary and do not address any of our major problems. The disappointing thing is that it's totally believable as well.

Speak for yourself. I want us to sign central midfielders, not strikers, second strikers and wingers. The reason we've been completely embarrassed in every European Tie since Schalke is that our midfield cannot compete with top class midfields.

If we sign those 3 it represents a complete surrender as far as Europe is concerned, it's Ferguson giving up and deciding to focus on winning the much easier Premier League; it's Ferguson saying Barcelona and Real Madrid are too good for us to even think about defeating, and I cannot make United the best again. A manager with that attitude is not a manager I want in charge of Manchester United.

with those 3 barca/madrid will be the ones thinking about defending Cool

i think you also forget how many injuries we had in midfield in the CL last season. we had the likes of Jones and Giggs in there for the important last group match. also PL easy, CL isnt??? hmmm is that wh chelsea finished 6th and won the CL?? seems like CL is easier to me

Manchester United should buy Axel Witsel. He is a big powerful lad, like Yaya Toure by many accounts. However, a loan for Sahin sounds even better.
