Liverpool's arrogant owners have posted a video claiming that Clint Dempsey has joined the club. Very disrespectful to Fulham, and Dempsey for that matter.

A post on Fenway Sports Group's website said Liverpool had "added Clint Dempsey to a team that came within a game of winning the FA Cup".
The website report was later removed.

A Fulham spokesperson told BBC Sport: "It is totally not true. We have not received any bids."


Absolute bollocks I love how Fulham try and cover it up. No bids my arse, so we're not interested in the slightest are we? I call bullshit immediately, we would hardly put up a story on the 'Offical FSG Website' claiming that Clint Dempsey will be joining the squad only to turn out we haven't shown a single bit of interest in the last few weeks.

Fulham obviously want this news to be kept on the down low because they know that a shit deal is coming their way and there is nothing they can do to stop it.

So this is the exciting deal. I'd hoped for a better, younger one, but he should be up to the task for at least three years.

If he does what he's been doing for the last 2 years then I'll be happy. The only thing that puts me off is his age.

I don't like him as a person, not as a player. I'm kinda indifferent about how good he is.

I'm sure he'll further our cause. He's not flop material.

Adam was ok for a side that got relegated then was expected to come in and help Liverpool get into the top 4, Dempsey has been good for a few years in a top-half/mid-table side and he fits Rodger's philosophy.

If he was at a club challenging for the title he would be a mediocre player but for a club that classes finishing 5th or 6th as progression then he is definitely a very good option.

If Dempsey was called Dembele and looked like a heterosexual male, Jord would be ecstatic.

If he was English and called John Smith I would take him in a heart beat.
