Good ol' Charlie believes we can finish in the top 4

N'gog did not deserve to be sold in my opinion, his departure was the key to our downfall last season. He was the natural finisher who would of converted many of the chances we had.
Can Liverpool pay the £20 million fee for N'gog? I hope we can.
Even on Goal.com we have the trolls

We'd have to be the biggest fucking idiots to loan him out, especially to them.

If we loan him out he isn't going to come back a technically excellent, agile, mobile striker that Rodgers prefers.
If he proves to be incompatible with the system we should take what we can get for him and reinvest in another forward, as long as it's over 10 mill. Saying that, I think he should be given until January.

I thought the chances of us 'loaning' out Carroll were zero. But BBC never usually make this stuff up.. Fuck!

Disgrace that he hardly got played. Now that everything has settled down is it safe to say that Ken was absolute shite?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I thought Maxi would stay and I think he would have done well here.
I would be reluctant to take a 20 mill loss on Carroll. We won't loan him out that would be retarded. But say we're given 15 mill for him, who are we going to go buy with that?
And we probably should look for 20 mill. A 22 year old English international who scored a great goal at the Euros.

Apparently he didn't mind staying but his family was having trouble settling over the two years he was here.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I think if we give up Carroll then we need to get two more attackers in, and another if Bellamy leaves.
Twitter rumors saying Dempsey coming in but it would have to be cheap for me to be happy about it.
Then there's other rumors about Mertens and another guy from PSV.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Losing Carroll, Maxi, Bellamy and Kuyt seems like a massive blow to our depth.
