Obviously, but Rodwell was fit and on form he'd do a decent job. Isn't a defensive midfielder in the squad.ViVaRooney wrote:Cleverley >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> rodwell
It's a good job you don't hold a high position in a country's FA then.fluffy_kittens wrote:Danny wrote:Too big for a major tournament, seems legit.
Imagine if Rodwell, and Wilshere were fit (more so Wilshere), and Spurs weren't arseholes.
I hardly consider the Olympics a major tournament
But seriously, if you were British, it's a one off because you're hosting it, you wouldn't be tempted by the chance to win an Olympic gold medal, getting some tournament experience before you've probably been to one?
Sturridge.

If you found 50 quid on the floor, you'd complain about the litter

It would be far too easy (lmao, Jela) to just reply with "seems legit" wouldn't it?Ted wrote:Danny really needs to stop saying 'seems legit' in every post.
Is this Scott Sinclair's first game for GB? Don't get why he hasn't started. We only have width on one side.

Re: Football at the 2012 Olympics
Just got back home from Old Trafford, and was thoroughly satisfied from the entertainment on show for my £20. Bargain. The end of the Egypt v New Zealand game was as bizarre and entertaining as I have ever seen with three one on ones between the 90-93rd minute, and all of them missed. Feel for that Egyptian lad who skied that open goal after taking on the keeper, reminded me of Odejayi's miss against Newcastle 7 years back. Must say that the number 7 and 11 for NZ impressed me, in an otherwise very average NZ side.
And for Belarus v Brazil I was impressed with Belarus and will back them to hold off Egypt in their next game to finish as runners up. Their quality was shown in the build up to their goal. As for Brazil, their fans are great and their players are great. Their skill and trickery is always a joy to watch, and there was lots of that on show today.

It was irresponsible for Brazil to field a 41 year old women regardless.

Really what? What have they dominated? Won the Euros? Please remind me again the quality of players in u-19 euros? Where was Spain during youth world cups?
