Women shouldn't go to football matches. I can't stand that screeching sound made when there's a slight chance for our side. Stupid irritating screaming from the kitchen dwellers.

We've not been too bad, should have won really. Senegal have been quite violent.

That screeching was the sound of someone kicking your pony.

Senegal are probably happier that they didn't get a man sent off.

No it wasn't. It was the women in the football stadium.Pico wrote:Jord wrote:Women shouldn't go to football matches. I can't stand that screeching sound made when there's a slight chance for our side. Stupid irritating screaming from the kitchen dwellers.

Graeme Bailey @SkyGraemeBailey
And BTW Jordan Rhodes was one of four players confirmed by Fifa on GB stand-by list, meaning Pearce actually preferred Sordell.

Egypt always get destroyed by Brazil in the first half and almost make a great comeback.

I felt like sticking pins in my eyes at that match..
People were doing mexican waves for gods sake and in the end I was wanting Senegal to win as they played the better football.

No different to a normal match day at OT.
Booing Bellamy.
Cam wrote:They're booing Neil Taylor, as well, aren't they? Just seems like it
Danny wrote:I think it was Rose, or Bertrand.
Cam wrote:Why would they boo those two?

Bellamy didn't get booed.
I wouldn't be surprised if we finish bottom of our group. UAE are going to tear us a new one on Sunday.

You're meant to be dead, Lewis.
I don't like how there seems to be no structure to our team. 3 left backs (one who can play full back/wing I know), right back at centre back, midfield 3- none of which is known for sitting back in a Busquets type role, really little threat up front- Sturridge offered nothing and we had 1 shot on target which came from a free kick.

Re: Football at the 2012 Olympics
Surely we have better strikers under the age of 23 (apart from Welbeck) than Sturridge.
Tbf. He's been ill, which sort of makes you question why he's there. I'd never even heard of Sordell before he picked the squad.

Andrew Carroll.
Did you have Lux on ignore or something? I must've read his name about 100 times.

I'd never heard of him either. It's not surprising though - he couldn't even get in Bolton's first team last season.

Exactly. How I am going to know who he is when he couldn't break into a relegated Bolton side who's best strikers are Kevin Davies and David N'Gog?

Yeah I thought that was a little odd. Psycho's tactics of smash it down the left wing and see if Danny Rose can latch onto it were also very frustrating, though I suppose it would have been foolish to expect anything better.
