Lukas Podolski had the highest pass accuracy (94%) of any starting player yesterday, including Andrea Pirlo.

Suck it Pirlo and Italy bum boys.

Fabregas has always been good with penalties and while having mixed results on the field and not being in the starting line-up his confidence is great. Nice of him to still show why he was made captain at such an early age, big responsibility to take the last penalty, i assume Xavi would have been the choice had he still been on the field.

Mixed feelings about the final, very disappointed with Germany (Kroos, Podolski and Gomez not mobile enough quite clearly, like Löw had not seen the different in his lineup against Greece compared to the group games) , but pleasantly surprised with Balotelli, smiling, happy and playing up to this rumored potential experts throw around.

I think Spain are still slight favorites and must assume that Ramos and Pique has enough quality to contain Cassano and Balotelli.
