Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Anyone here think Gerrard's performances in the European Championship could lead to him getting a move to a bigger club or a CL club?

If he wanted to leave I don't think he would have much problem finding a new club. Doubt he does though.

No, seems too late for that. But I can hope.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Fabio Borini has played down reports linking him with a summer switch to Liverpool.
The striker, who joined Roma in a co-ownership deal from Parma last summer, despite signing for the Gialloblu only a month before, was signed outright by the capital club for €5.3 million in a blind auction.
However, reports had surfaced linking Borini, who spent time on loan at Swansea two seasons ago, with a move to Liverpool, now managed by ex-boss Brendan Rodgers. Nonetheless, the forward refused to be drawn on his future.
"I am at Roma now," Borini told Goal.com. "Roma have just bought me, either today or yesterday.
"It's not my business now to go to Liverpool or to stay. I don't know [if there is a possibility of doing so]. For now, I am a Roma player."
Borini impressed in 2011-12 for Roma, scoring nine times in Serie A to earn a place in Cesare Prandelli's 23-man Italy squad at Euro 2012.

I actually dont mind a lot of the England players, but yes im hoping Gerrard and Johnson and maybe Carroll if he comes on at all can do themselves proud and they can put in a decent performance. But i dont want England to win the tournement and i dont think they will, but ive been more impressed with the England team and players this tournement at least they all seem to be sticking together as a team for their country this time round.

People are used to him in the league now, I think.
Could be the reason he's so dangerous at international level, those defences are generally either chopped and changed, or they're playing against him for the first time.
