Being heavily linked with Fabio Borini today:
John Zabala @JZrenz
@BenSmithBBC @RyanLeeBarrett ben are we very interested on Borini that we will actully bid?
Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC
@JZrenz @ryanleebarrett yes and probably but not yet
Ryan Lee Barrett @RyanLeeBarrett
@bensmithbbc Borini - just rumour or something more? Thanks Ben!
Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC
@RyanLeeBarrett Borini is something more than just rumour, Ryan.

among the many B.S rumours #lfc interest in #borini is real talk. no bid as far as my mole on the wall is aware but more than just a #rumour

Let us face it, Glen is probably the most diplomatic individual when handling the press, and he is an incredibly loyal friend. That is probably his one greatest flaw.Jord wrote:http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/england-defender-glen-johnson-talks-up-liverpool-teammate-steven-gerrard-7875953.html

My crystal ball has been right many times, except for when money has been involved.

Sigurdsson
Borini
Yeah that's all well and good.. But we really need someone to replace our god awful wingers. Maybe Sterling can play on the left every now and then. Maxi if he's still here would fit in quite well too. Our right side is full of shitters though.

Apparently Sigurdsson could be going to Spurs now. Don't think Liverpool will get Borini either.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'm 100% on Sigurdsson choosing Liverpool over Tottenham.
We can offer him better wages
He knows the manager
We actually have a manager
Without Arry and Modric we have a better team
Borini can still come to us. I read somewhere that Roma had an option to buy him by Friday. Well Friday has gone and he's all up for grabs and we seem to be the only ones interested.

Why do you think you can offer him better wages?

That's funny, I don't see anyone called Jordan in Liverpool or NESV's corporate structure.Jord wrote:Because we canResurrectionRooney wrote:

You have a better team than Tottenham? Don't be silly. Harry's replacement will probably set them up better tactically.Jord wrote:I'm 100% on Sigurdsson choosing Liverpool over Tottenham.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Harry made them what they are in my opinion. I think they have a very high chance of losing both Bale and Modric and they are arguably their two best players. If not them two then Adebayor is definitely out since he was just a loan move and would they honestly have the money to buy him?kyro7 wrote:You have a better team than Tottenham? Don't be silly. Their midfield wins over ours but our Goalkeeper, Defence and Striker options are better. Anyway my main point was that I'm sure if the choice came that Sigurdsson would chose Liverpool over Tottenham.

If I was Sigurdsson I would join Liverpool, not because they have a better team or anything like that but because Van Der Vaart would be ahead of me.

You're predicting worse case scenario's in terms of losing players.. Harry built them in terms of signings but with the team they had last season a lot of managers would have done far better.Jord wrote:Harry made them what they are in my opinion. Exactly though
He has no chance of fitting into that. He could walk right into our midfield.

Read Modric headed to Madrid.
Nice, not in the league. Madrid have quite the squad. Perhaps we could snatch somebody that doesn't get playing time there.
