or a join a team that has been declining for a long time.
just because you guys have dominated for years doesn't mean shit. I'm not saying you guys suck or anything but it's obvious that you guys have been declining.
spend big money? all i've heard is hazard. I don't think kagawa counts as a big buy (considering he is gonna go for like 15 million)
Chelsea are in line to go after modric and hulk.

Our squad is already more rounded to win the league anyway, so if we just added Hazard and a midfielder it wouldn't matter, at the end of the day Hazard went for money.Logic wrote:just because you guys have dominated for years doesn't mean shit. You need to change your username.
So you're telling me if Hazard joined us over Chelsea our future wouldn't look brighter than theirs when we finished like 23 points ahead of them last season, and they've lost Drogba? What you're assuming is after they've signed Hazard, what I'm arguing is if Hazard picked us, we have by far a brighter future than Chelsea next season.. so it came down to one thing.. who's offering the wages?
EDIT: By the way that top line isn't an insult.

Yeah, but you wouldn't put it beyond Chelsea to go out and buy another world class winger for 35 million pounds.

Yeah, of course they do. But they can match their needs whenever they want because of the seemingly unlimited funds they possess. You, on the other hand, had to get a 37 year old out of retirement to solve your midfield crisis. They're financially much more ambitious so it's not unreasonable for Hazard to think that Chelsea will have a better future.

drogba was amazing in the end.
to my understand the chelsea fans didn't think he was that good during the season.
I'm looking at it from his point of view. (not considering he thinks he will rip the league apart and single handily win the league.)
You have two teams.
a rich team who just won the double and are ready to spend millions upon millions to buy new players (hulk, modric and him)
a team who is debt, while they are the epl, they are getting worse with city becoming the dominate force. they may win the league next season, possibly the season after but they aren't the next team you expect to win a treble.

Oh right, we may win the league for the next 2 seasons but we wont win the treble, who wants to join a club that wont win the treble.. those treble's will be won by everyone else.

possibly. unlikely.
from his point of view, Chelsea is more likely to win the cl, the other trophies and mount a more serious challenge in the league.
If they spend heaps like they told him.

Never said he wouldn't leave Madrid. Just says he will retire at Real Madrid.
He could come back to United for a few seasons then return to Real Madrid, Very very very unlikely though.
Point being he never said he won't leave them....

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Anybody who believes anything CRonaldo says is a fool to be honest. He just says what he thinks will please his fan base the most or maybe even with whatever pleases him at that moment. There's few footballers you can take for their word nowadays and Cronaldo is certainly not one of them. A few months ago he said he was happy at Madrid but wouldn't rule out leaving if he was unhappy in a year or two.(which is understandable) Now he wants to retire there. That's a sudden change of heart.(which is no longer understandable, it's hard to believe that now he's sure he wants to retire there, when a month or two ago he wasn't ruling out the possibility of leaving.)
I bet when he's 38 and near retirement, Club America is going to be knocking on his door and he's going to say it's always been his dream to join America.
Personally though, I think he'll stick with Madrid for a long while longer then fuck off to Portugal for his final years of football.

I don't see how we've declined in the last few years since we've only lost the league twice by one point and the other being goal difference, plus we've reached the Champions league final only to lose out to the best team of all time. I don't see that as a team in decline at all.

Probably bullshit but some people are saying we've signed someone and it's going to appear on the club website in 10 mins..

Shit yeah, story says we've agreed kagawa deal, nice.
Also, we're definitely not in decline. We've really got only one way to go with all of our injuries and how many young players we have in the squad, ridiculous to me that anyone would think we're in decline.

If you want to see how we've declined don't look at the results, look at the team and the ability of the players in it and compare it to their counterparts 4 years ago.
