I can't speak for that fellow, but I don't want to work with people who believe I am deserving of eternal suffering. If you take out the bit about eternal suffering, or take out the bit about God being good, then I'm happy to work with you to achieve mutual betterment on planet Earth.

It is too disgusting for me to associate with people who believe I deserve to suffer eternal punishment.

just another excuse.
You could be benefiting the world but instead you are too rooted in your stupid ideals. People like you.... will always find something to disagree about, hate someone and refuse to help them.

The only ideal I have with regard to this is that I don't believe anyone should suffer eternal punishment, I think it is extremely reasonable. When you go so categorically against that - worshipping a being which according to your belief system will send me, and most of the people I love and care for to hell, I am repulsed.
If someone said he was going to torture and rape your family until they died, and I believed they were capable of doing it, how would you feel if I publicly worshipped that person, and said everything they do is right. Would you work with me to make the world a better place?

If i didn't believe he existed then i would do everything i can to help. If i can help billions of people by just working with something who believed in something i found stupid... then i would.
It is disgusting that you wouldn't.

Here's the thing - you can elevate 10 billion people from absolute poverty to the highest quality of life in the developed world, and that still doesn't offset one person suffering eternal punishment. And I can't help billions, you're trying to create a false dichotomy.
My objection isn't that I find it stupid, by objection is that it is completely morally reprehensible.

Its a situation you are in. I doubt you will ever be in a position to help so many people but we are discussing if you are able too, we are discussing you would if you could.
You make it sound like you truly believe that they will suffer eternal damnation when in fact you don't. You believe faith is stupid.
The whole problem was that you wouldn't work with someone to save billions of people, because they believed in something you found disgusting. Considering you don't believe in it then the whole idea that you wouldn't help them
is morally reprehensible.
I can put aside my beliefs for the greater good, that is the right thing to do.
you claim you wouldn't work someone because you think there beliefs are morally wrong.
It's morally wrong not to put aside your differences to work for the greater good.

If I could work with someone with a disgusting belief to help billions then I would do it, but it is not a real situation. I wouldn't like to work with someone who held those beliefs in a real life scenario.

Aaaannd... back to football.
Vidic is running and can do some things on the training pitch after 4 months of gym work. He's targeting being fit the opening day.

You deserve eternal punishment because you sin, as we all do. It's more than clear that the punishment for sin is death. The punishment for it is death, thus if you sin, someone must die. I'm pretty sure that is why Christians say God's son died came to earth and died for humanity. For all of our sins, forever, so that we would not have to die.
And Christians, or so they say, do not want us to go to hell. Eternal life apparently is a free gift, and all I have to do is believe...
I am more than certain that the last thing my christian friends would want is for me to spend an 'eternity' in hell. Maybe that is why they constantly talk about him to me.
(BTW, not sure if Christian, but I am seriously contemplating.)
So I don't see your problem? I have tons of christian friends, and they are some of the nicest people to me.
