Sorry but this made me burst out laughing Why were you all fussed about him? We are never going to compete with the wage money Man City and Chelsea will offer. And from what I can tell, money is his top priority.Laurencio wrote:I'll just go cry in a corner...

Cause he's a brilliant and highly entertaining player that we missed out on. I don't give a damn about the money, he is a great talent that we missed out on and that makes me sad.

At least we missed out to Sunny Spain, to the most attractive club in terms of city, culture, style and money in the world. This time we lost out to 6th placed fucking Chelsea in the same league .

From another perspective, we lost out to the filthy rich European champions.

We have a billionaire owner you fucking idiot. This is just another example of a top young player who doesn't want to play for Ferguson.

I don't care how rich they are, we lost out to a team in the same league. If he'd gone to Italy or Spain, then fine, but in the same league. Now I have to watch this sublime talent, who we were chasing, play against us

Of course I don't think that, nobody thinks that.

This is exactly the point isn't it? Chelsea don't even have a permanent manager, and Ferguson is still incapable of getting top young players to sign for us. What the fuck is he going to do when they do have a manager? How are we going to compete at the top of Europe with a manager who can't even get good young players to sign for him in competition with no manager?

You've completely forgotten that we agreed personal terms with him and was just waiting for him to pick between us, Chelsea and ManCity. There was no "money talks". We had contract negotiations with the player, agreed on a possible contract and awaited a response. We offered him a wage he accepted, but he turned us down in favor of Chelsea.

cause they probably offered more. it makes no sense that 3 teams offered him same money and he chose the worst one out of the 3 i dont think he is a chelsea fan so..

Why agree to the contract we offered in the first place then? If Chelsea were the only ones who came up with an acceptable contract then he wouldn't have agreed personal terms with us, obviously.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
chelsea could have upped their offer then hazard went to other teams saying "are you willing to offer this much too?" and so on
cause as i said i cant find any logic in him choosing chelsea over the manchester clubs if its level playing field

Eden Hazard: 192 apps, 50 goals and 30 assists. Shinji Kagawa: 198 apps, 86 goals and 45 assists. In a better league.
I want him, Park could have a new friend too.

All personal terms were agreed and negotiations had been concluded according to his agent. He had 5 clubs offering him contracts and it was brought down to 3 who all agreed on terms. He got the money he wanted, he just didn't want to join us, no idea why, but that's the basics of it.
Cause there isn't any, aside from the fact that Roman could have talked to him and been a much better salesman, offering him both a key position and significant investment into the squad to improve and make him the "gem" of the new Chelsea side.

Roman Abromovich is a great admirer of Cavani, and He's just got the taste for spending again.
