    All 3 lmao. Strong FM.

But seriously, Carrick is good and in the deep lying playmaker role, we need a ball winner and someone more creative. Neutral

    Ball winners = Fletcher, Carrick
Deep Lying Playmakers = Scholes, Carrick
Creative players = Scholes, Cleverley, Giggs

Twat of all trades = Anderson

Who are you getting rid of to accommodate these new midfielders?

Anderson and Fletcher, also Scholes and Giggs are in their last season so their presence doesn't worry me in the slightest, just stick them in for experience moments.

carrick is far from a ball winner, he can play deep but that doesnt make him an effective ball winner. just watch the everton game, he just allows players around him to play

Alright, so to be clear, you are abandoning Fletcher, who is recovering from a serious illness, and getting rid of Anderson, who in the view of Ferguson is going to become a fantastic player?

Carrick is a fine ball-winner, he just doesn't win it by making a lot of tackles.

I reckon if we sign Hazard or Kagawa, Rooney will be pushed up to where he played in the 09/10 season.

is this what you constantly refer to?

this was said last summer when we lost scholes and didnt sign anyone. so fergie tried to encourage him and fill the void. he did until he got injured

nothing suggests fergie isnt sick of the injuries

No, they aren't, but that's another example of Ferguson's brilliant management isn't it? Can't find the original quotes, but I'm pretty sure it was a lot more recent than that.

Hazard also said he was enjoying his playmaker role for the Belgian national team. "I'm happy that I'm playing for the Red Devils [Belgium] in my best position, as a true No. 10," he said.

hmm so his preferred position is true n10 (which i am guessing means behind the striker) then if we get hazard we wont need Kagawa

and belgium are nicknamed Red Devils? Manchester United FC Official Thread - Page 7 3925848005

I did know, but I still don't see anything wrong with it.

Belgium were nicknamed it almost 60 years before Man United.
