Anderson and Fletcher, also Scholes and Giggs are in their last season so their presence doesn't worry me in the slightest, just stick them in for experience moments.

carrick is far from a ball winner, he can play deep but that doesnt make him an effective ball winner. just watch the everton game, he just allows players around him to play

Alright, so to be clear, you are abandoning Fletcher, who is recovering from a serious illness, and getting rid of Anderson, who in the view of Ferguson is going to become a fantastic player?

Carrick is a fine ball-winner, he just doesn't win it by making a lot of tackles.
