which colour is the best?

This thread is completely my own research and I am calling this as I see it. I am using the primary colour of each league champion home jersey to create this total. If the top and shorts are different colours I gave the top the tiebreaker. After various research the results are slightly different which I find quite interesting. Here it is...

Blue 11
Red 10
White 7
Yellow 5
White & Black 4
Green & White 4
Orange 3
Purple 2
Green 1
Maroon 1

Would be interesting to see the results if you compared it with the prevalence of particular colours in each League. Blue, red etc. may simply be the most common colours for clubs to use.

That might be true but to properly do that might take a day or so. I think we all agree the blue, red, and white are the three most common colours worldwide. Research says that red is better than blue which has been supported by data in the Olympics when colours are given at random.

I have seen that research about red. It's possible I suppose....different colours do produce different emotions.

It could just be that red and blue are the most common though... I'm surprised there's actually 5 who wear yellow.
