Actually, not least favourite, that makes it sound like it's one of my favourites, I'd rather kill myself tbh.

It was two days after he got back until he was sacked.
Was he a potential buyer? No, get your fucking points right, Times reported he was closing in on buying Liverpool, love how you twist arguments to suit you. And yes, it was a big story, if not the biggest, certainly off the pitch. So don't people think the whole H & G saga was one of the biggest stories/events in Liverpool's history? Considering we were 'hours' away from going under? And the Times running a story saying we were close to new ownership? I'd say that's pretty fucking big. Barrett and co lost A LOT of credit for that, they fucked up big time.
And again with the Kenny situation, Ryan, do you honestly think he wasn't told he was sacked when he met up with FSG in Boston? Do you think they just rang him 2 days later and went 'oh by the way, you're sacked'. Yeah...you have a word with yourself. He got sacked at the meeting in Boston, common sense would of told you that.

I thought Van Gaal as DOF with Martinez as manager was the most likely.

Strong suggestions now it's gunna' be Rodgers. I haven't got a fucking clue what's going on.
I threw £50 on Villas-Boas 2 weeks ago. Oh dear.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Yes he was. His name was linked to buying us. That makes him ...... a potential buyer. (You don't have to ACTUALLY be interested to be a potential buyer)
I'll go by Barrett's words. When Kenny came back, Barrett said the outcome was still undetermined. If you look through my previous posts, I actually posted a picture of the article saying "Kenny was asked to move upstairs, he declined. The outcome of the meeting is still to come". As far as I'm concerned he was right. They asked him over to offer him a board position. He declined. They took a while to decide how they would break the news, because it's one of the biggest decisions they'll make. Once they were done, two days later, they broke the news that they sacked him. I'll believe Barrett over your speculation.
Anyway, I'm not arguing over trivial examples. I stand by what I said earlier. Some journos are more respected than others, I class Barrett as one of them. I'm not saying what he says is true, but I expect him to have gotten his info from a decent source before he breaks it. And I think that's worthy of posting on here, because a lot of it does come true. If you disagree then do the same and put me on ignore. That goes for anyone who has a problem with me posting updates from the likes of Barrett, Evans, Roan, Smith etc

I have no clue what to expect.
I feel like going for Martinez or Rodgers is seriously underrating our brand and we do have cash. Either could be a huuuge gamble and mistake

Fair play. Agree to disagree. I agree about certain Journalists, of you're gunna' listen to anyone, then it's the likes of Barrett and co who you should look out for. My point was they do get things wrong and their points shouldn't be taken as gospel, I know certain people do.
And as for the Kenny point, Barrett got it wrong, simple as that, he said Kenny hadn't been sacked, it was clearly obvious the decision was made over in Boston. But anyway, it's a bit of a mute point, looks like we're close to unveiling a new manager, so we'll leave this here.

Do you honestly think either of them can get us into the top 4?
We will need to improve with transfers as this team can't get in. There's no goals in the team.

Martinez HAS to be involved somehow. There's been too much. Meeting in America. Meeting over here.
If they fuck him off and go for a bloke that's refused to talk to them until now.... it'd be a bit of a mindfuck.
Nothing would surprise me with this lot though.

Paul Tomkins has said it's done. Rodgers, Van Gaal and Pep Segura are the new management/technical team, according to him.

I can't stand that bald cunt but I suppose that's a good outcome for me.
Van Gaal is what I'm most happy about. If he sense's the owners are choosing profit over success, we'll know about it. Hopefully he can attract some names as well.

Is this the famous scouse sense of humour that I'm missing? I've just had a look at his twitter account, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, if he's real he's as thick as pig shit.

Haha I was going to say, what a dumbshit if he really typed that.
Sounds like Rodgers and LVG then. LVG has to be the new guy to help target players

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'd rather Rodgers over Martinez, but no way Martinez isn't getting the job now after how many times he's met the owners.
