Dan Roan just retweeted a BBC presenter's tweets saying he has good info that we're closing in on Rodgers.
Martinez DoF + Rodgers Manager?

Because if he did bad at LFC his reputation would have taken a big blow.NZG wrote:Kuled wrote:Martinez did the right thing if he really did reject you imo.
Cool. Thanks for sharing your valued thoughts on the matter.
Also no need to write an eassy on the topic. We understand why you think that.

Because even if you are midtable the fans in general expect Champions league football, and that won't happen any time soon.CollieBuddz wrote:Kuled wrote:Because if he did bad at LFC his reputation would have taken a big blow.
Which job can you do bad at and NOT have your reputation take a big blow?
If anything, the Liverpool job is perfect for his reputation because we're pretty much expected to be mid table now. The only way he could really be hurt is if he got us in a relgation fight.
So you think he should stay at Wigan for the rest of his career?

a retweet means nothing. I don't care who tweeted it, i don't give a fuck if it is bbc, times or whatever fuck else headline news.
After supporting liverpool all my life, i know that reporters basically know nothing and we should take everything with a grain of salt.Kuled wrote:Because if he did bad at LFC his reputation would have taken a big blow.
You have to take risks to move forward.

Moving on, here's Martinez at MANCHESTER Airport.
Don't see anything indicating that this the MANCHESTER Airport.

Yeah the likes of Barrett and a few others are good when it comes to Liverpool, but don't be taking everything they say as gospel. They don't know everything. I've followed Barrett for years and he's been wide of the mark on many of things, though he's got his fair share right.
Anyone remember Kenny Huang was buying Liverpool? And he was backed the Chinese Goverment? Barrett and Evans ran the story, front page of the Times, 4 page story! Haha. I remember buying the paper in work.
Talk about failing in spectacular fashion, not only did Huang not buy the club, he was NEVER close to buying it, nor was he EVER backed by the Chinese Goverment. He was merely a con-man trying to receive publicity. And Barrett and co had him down as the best thing since sliced bread.

If Tony Barrett writes something in the Times, is it more credible then if he wrote it on Twitter? It's exactly the same.
Dan Roan is extremely reliable and was the one breaking all the news on Broughton + Puslow's court case against H+G.
I'm not saying it's defo true but there must be something to it for him to be highlighting it.
