congratulations Chelsea, though they were extremely lucky again just like they were against us... would've liked Bayern to win but oh well that's what happens if you don't finish off your chances...

they deserved it.
anyone who says otherwise is butthurt.
I'm not really mad at Chelsea specifically, I'm just upset that such a lucky team ended up winning the CL and the teams that actually played entertaining football didn't.
Bayern didn't finish their chances, even when Luiz handed them chance after chance they missed, Ashley Cole played brilliantly in defence and saved Chelsea on more than one occasion. Drogba played very well, and Torres helped put Bayern under pressure. If anything Bayern lost it because Heynckes' tried to defend the lead when they were clearly dominating the game and posession. That one move let Chelsea back into the game.

Lol I started supporting them because my father supported them, Yes I've never left Australia but I don't see why my financial situation has anything to do with anything.

Speak for yourself. Chelsea's defensive football is entertaining to me. They were the better team, defended better and finished their chances unlike Bayern. Missing various amounts of chances doesn't equal to playing well.

Don't think anyone can doubt Cahill now, if they do they are just straight hatin'

Why do they keep saying Drogba scored in every cup final, he didn't score v us, he got sent off, and couldn't take the penalty to win them the CL.

Beat Napoli from behind, beat Barcelona from behind with 10 men and beat Munich from behind.
Fact that Chelsea's grit, determination, great defending and ability to step it up and pull the game back when they're behind matters far more than shot or possession stats.
No Terry or Ivanovic but the defence was amazing. Almost every shot and cross was blocked by someone doing everything to get in the way.
True winners.
well said

I find Chelsea's tactical discipline and steeled defending, mixed in with a little flair from Mata, Torres, Drogba and Lampard, to be quite interesting to watch tbh.

I'm a tad optimistic about England's defence actually. Cole and Cahill were great.

none of that worked..
they scored from a corner and bayern missed a pen in ET.. simple as
tactics didnt work, luck was on their side. i mean just thinking about it (their whole CL campaign) you cant imagine how any team can be this fortunate and lucky. messi missed sitters and a pen which he would never do in 1000 tries, but it happened against chelsea this was nothing short of luck carrying them through.

People keep going on about these amazing defensive performances from Chelsea and have the cheek to compare it to the great Inter side of 2010 that didn't let much past them yet against Napoli if Maggio put in that one chance that got cleared off the line by Cole they would of been dumped out, if Barcelona didn't miss 4 clear cut chances at Stamford Bridge or if Messi scored that penalty against them in the Nou Camp OR if Bayern finished one of the fuckload of chances they created nobody would even compare it.

It worked, but it did slip up a few times. Those times when certain players messed up doesn't change how interesting the times it does work is. Cole and Cahill have been great. Luck was definitely on their side, but so was their ability to frustrate their opponents and to come back when everyone doubted them. If you can't win a game after having 30 chances on goal you don't deserve to win.
They were extremely clinical, and that's a credit to them.

Key word being if.
None of it happened. Chelsea are deserved champions of Europe
