Scotland born US international from Houston Texas. Had a pretty good year back in 2010, for midtable side Bolton Wanderes in the Barcly's Premier Leauge. Before a Netherlands footballer named de Jong broke him. He made a comeback then a Northern Irish footballer that goes by the name of Evans broke him again.

Incredible, Jurgie. He hasn't called in Altidore for our next set of qualifiers. Turns out, Jozy is scoring too many goals to be considered for the team. The rest of the team will be announced later today.

He tweeted out this morning that he was doing a team exercise with AZ this week. Maybe he was just messing with us, but we will find out at 3 for sure.

GOALKEEPERS (3) : Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS (Cool : Carlos Bocanegra (Racing Santander), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Edgar Castillo (Club Tijuana), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover), Maurice Edu (Stoke City), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim), Michael Parkhurst (Nordsjaelland)

MIDFIELDERS (Cool : Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Michael Bradley (Roma), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04), Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht), Brek Shea (FC Dallas), Danny Williams (Hoffenheim), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

FORWARDS (5): Clint Dempsey (Tottenham Hotspur), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Herculez Gomez (Santos), Alan Gordon (San Jose Earthquakes), Eddie Johnson (Seattle Sounders)

It's a great list, but Johnson/Gordon over Jozy is ridiculous, these guys aren't going to a World Cup.

    I'd play

    Howard
    Dolo - Cameron - Boca - Johnson
    Bradley - Williams
    Dempsey Donovan Shea
    Gomez

Donovan apparently recovered.... But Shea missed Dallas' game this past weekend due to injury. So surely he isn't game fit? But this is what we get having this fuck as our manager. We finally have strikers banging in goals for fun, and he leaves them all at home.

Did you see his interview? Where he kind of poo pooed on Jozy's stats claiming that Holland is an open league (obviously) and international play is tougher (obviously), reading it he sounded kind of condescending although I totally agree with him, Jozy later tweeted something like "people are always blaming others for their shortcomings" and linked to the interview, so maybe that's a part of it.

I don't buy it at all. Altidore is in the form of his life. And he's not good enough to at least make the bench against Antigua and Barbado? That's bullshit. Jurgen has got some sketchy criteria to make his squads -- and when club form was pertinent before -- it's apparently now insignificant.

And Jurgen shouldn't be calling Altidore out for his lack of contributions with the national team recently. Instead, he should be finding ways to get Altidore more involved. That is his job -- find the best way to get your best players to work together. And he is failing at it right now, and miserably.

I totally agree, he could've benched him to send a message, with Gomez in the squad that's a way to wake Jozy up. This is ridiculous.

We gotta get this dude out. He is clueless. He flew Donovan all the way out to Miami to do an exam, only to fly him all the way back. He's now making a mockery of the team and it's pissing me off.

Really what we should do is move Johnson into the midfield, and have Lichaj play left back. But no Lichaj (typical). Though Castillo has had a good start to the season from what I have heard. So maybe that wound work.

I didn't catch the first half, but I was kind of disappointed by what I saw in the second half. The crowd seemed out of it a bit, but that didn't seem surprising, since Seattle was rather dominating Portland. And once Seattle got those first couple of goals, Portland went haywire, and disrupted any sort of rhythm to the match (at least from what I saw in the second half).
