    Excuses, brah.

    2 words: SCORE BOARD.

What excuses scratch Do you not agree that it was a shit game?

Both teams played badly and the U.S came away with the result. The whole first half the US couldn't even string 3 passes together.

Mark Geiger gave out like 3 reds cards in the last 5 minutes of the DC-Philly game. Dude is legend.

Oh and Higuian may play tonight. He's like Guille but 27 instead of 37. Get ready for some shit.

Cahill scored. Dat infinite salary cap

Federico used to play for Club America. He was shockingly bad. Guy had a good shot on him though. Only goal he scored for them was a long distance shot against U Catolica in the Copa Libertadores.

    _____________

Cirilio Saucedo is frustrated with not being called up to the national team and is open to playing for the US.

Guy, had a great match today vs Club America.

Didn't realize he was even that "old." Laughing

When you're a goalkeeper though, 30 isn't that bad, still have 5 good years left in ya.

Says his mother is American, that would make him eligible wouldn't it?

Would be a great back up. He's good, it's just that your never going to get a chance when you have Corona and Ochoa fighting for the 1st and 2nd goalkeeper positions, and then you have Talavera as Chepo's pet favorite. Not to mention Michel, Palos and Orozco fighting to take that last spot off of Talavera. Non of them are much better than Saucedo but they play for "bigger" teams, and that has a lot to do with it.

Isn't the 2nd goalkeeping spot still up for grabs on the US squad? Or is that pretty much Rimando's?

Wait. Just read it would take 5 years for him to get citizenship or some shit. Well, so much for that. Laughing

Yeah, I mean he isn't old, but he isn't quite young enough to have that long lasting impact with the team. And I think the five year status is what I read about him too.

But, we are definitely lacking behind Howard in terms of keepers. Really, it should be Guzan, but he has wasted his career away in England by not playing (checked -- he has played 32 times since moving to Villa in the summer of 2008. Incredibly poor). Rimando is nice, but he isn't big enough really, and I think is about the same age as Howard (yup, both turned 33 this year).

Sean Johnson and Bill Hamid are supposedly the next two keepers in line, but Johnson is just error prone -- I can't imagine why some people think he is the next coming. Two of the goals he conceded against United on Wednesday were just straight derp worthy. Hamid is better, but he has a long ways to come in terms of maturation.

Dan Kennedy should really be the current number 2. But for some reason, he hasn't been called in by Jurgie, despite his torrid form over the past two seasons. Again, not a youngster, but I should think he deserves a couple of caps by now.
