Koevermans has been on fire lately. Has 6 goals in 6 games. As soon as he starts getting some decent service he scores.

he has been very good, maybe you'll catch us

Do not want. Nothing against Nesta but 2/3 of our designated players are defensive minded players, don't really need another. Frings does add some offensive flair but more often than not he sits in front of the defense. De Guzman is more or less a strictly holding midfielder than plays our long balls. How are we going to sign him too when we already have 3 DPs... I'm aware that there's some loophole that gets you around it but I still don't fully understand it.

A winger or an attacking midfielder would be ideal.

Union got ripped off by a questionable referee decision, but that La-SJ game had everything, a lot of good goals, a Beckham fk goal and a mini brawl started by Beckham as well

That is true, but it would help if we could keep possession at all. In our 3-0 win I believe the possession was 59% MTL and 41% TOR. So even when we win we get buttfucked in possession. I remember the Houston game was like 61% Houston 39% Toronto at half-time (We were up 3-1) so it really was only a matter of time that they would score with that kind of possession. I'm not saying our defense isn't at fault but it would be a lot easier on them if they didn't have to be constantly defending.

Last minute win for TFC! cheers

We really have problems keeping leads though. We gave up the lead in the 90th minute then managed to sneak one by in the 95th to re-gain it.

yeah Union didnt play that bad but were mostly unlucky. MacMath lets a soft header go in and then gets scored on late in the game from half field, although there wasnt anything he couldve done on that second one really

Traded Julian De Guzman for Andrew Widedeman from FC Dallas. Sad to see him go but the moves makes sense, we were hardly using him and when we did it wasn't properly. He was also earning a chunk of money, that also frees up a DP spot so maybe the Nesta rumours are true.

Anyone know anything about this Widedeman guy? Barley anything on Wikipedia about him. Says he plays Full Back, Winger, and Forward... So where the hell will we play him? Only 22 years old though, plenty of potential.

I was watching Univision Deportes last night and they had the weirdest interview where Landon Donavon was praising Portland and at one point he literally say, "it's a dream for us to play against a team like Portland."

I know it's just good manners to speak well about the opposition but I think that's a bit much Landycakes. Laughing

TFC Rumoured to be buying Sweden's Olof Mellberg and/or Canadian captain Kevin McKenna. Would love to see either of these guys, obviously more Mellberg because he is much better but we hopefully might be able to get McKenna too as a non-DP. Don't think he's worthy of being DP especially now that he's so old.

Would be typical if something like that happened. We are finally beginning to get things going and our goal scoring machine gets injured.

This game is rather good it makes me wish that I would find more time to watch the MLS. This game is qualty and is the first match I have checked out since the first month of the season. Things would be really different if my town had a team.
