Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
What happened the last time Spurs made the champions league? Nothing, they got given a nice spanking against Real Madrid and Bale became better than Messi.

I want Bayern to win.
I want an automatic birth into the group stages and Tottenham will hopefully lose the qualifier.

Arsenal or Chelsea

It's almost dead certain that Modric will leave if they aren't in the Champions league, Bale's a bit of a strange one. Maybe it's because I mainly have Spurs fans and not any Chelsea that doesn't bother me.
We do need a left back, I would be happy if we get a top left back, but the main priority in this position is to get someone that will sit at left back and can stay fully fit. Gibbs isn't shit I've said this before, if he didn't have all these injuries he'd probably be one of the best left backs in the league now.
Who's realistically going to pay £40m for Bale apart from City? No one
Modric may get get offers but realistically they'll keep him prisioner, at the end of the day all they can really do is progress a little... or fall completely. I wouldn't be worried, the best they can hope for is pushing us out of the top 4

Chelsea/City would probably pay that for Bale.
The ideal situation would be what Hashem said. Bayern win and Spurs lose the Champions league qualifying round.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
It won't surprise me if City do put in a bid for him along with PSG (although he won't go there). Do Barcelona not have the funds for this? I'm sure they're loading out Villa and going to bring in some players this summer I'm sure. Modric got held prisoner last year, but doubt they can do it again this season. Next season surely won't be a 2 horse race...Fonseca wrote:Harrold wrote:I'm all for an English team winning it, just not this one. Spain na - No one needs him and Malaga won't pay that
France na - Only PSG can pay and tbh they're not deluded
Italy na - He won't like it there
Man U na
Man City maybe
Chelsea good chance
Either way they're talented individual players but they don't have a proper squad to compete, they have too many gaps and retards warming the bench

This has been the craziest season in the history of crazy seasons, we better not repeat it. That game against WBA typified it, good thing is that it had a happy ending.
Now the silly season begins.

Finishing 3st is quite an achievment, almost impossible, I'd say.Chris wrote:I dont care who wins the Champions League and thats the beauty of finishing 3st.
