Lost my first league game with Bristol Rovers I was 1-0 up at home to Shrewsbury in the 76th minute when Lee Brown got sent-off. That was a game changer, they quickly managed to bag three goals and win 1-3

Progress on my Athletic Bilbao save...

I made no signings my first season. The media predicted I would finish 8th, the board wanted Europa League qualification. I ended finishing 3rd, 3 points behind Real Madrid. Barcelona ran away with the league. In the Europa League, I was expected to reach the R16. I ended up getting kicked out by Club Brugge 1-0 (home win) + 4-2 (away loss) in the QF. In the Copa del Rey, I lost to Real Betis 4-2 in the final (ended up beating Real Madrid by 4 goals on aggregate in the SF). Overall, a good start for a first season with signings.

I'm at the start of my second season. I changed my tactics and training a bit following some increase of knowledge of the game. I bought a new goalkeeper (1st choice) and a center midfielder (bench). I'm disappointed with the youth and regens at Bilabo though. There was only one good striker that I promoted to the first team in the middle of the first season after Llorente was out for 4 months. Anyways, this season, I expected to qualify for the CL, reach the Copa QF, and not to reach anything in the CL. I don't think I have the quality or consistency to win the title, but I'll try to at least finish 3rd again, maybe even get second.

Might try a new save as Sunday league experience only, going unemployed.

Will be hard to get a job on that experience.

With two games to go, I only need 3 points to guarantee a place in Europe.

I bought Kaká once just for kicks and giggles, my scout said he wasn't good enough for me. A year later he wont world player of the year Real Madrid really don't use him well though.

I have been trying to get rid of Nugent and Tunchev for quite a while now.

Yeah for FM 2013, they should improve the transfers. It's almost impossible to get rid of players for a reasonable price.

It's realistic. In fact it's already too easy to sell players, to make it easier would be silly. You shouldn't just be able to sell every player you want to because in real life no one wants to buy the Chamakhs and Efrain Juarezes of the world. At least in FM you're likely to get a loan or low bid.

I agree with Ahly on this one. I can't imagine how many times I've had problems selling an obviously talented player for a reasonable price. Usually it isn't because he's a bad player either, just that he doesn't fit my system. Yet I end up taking a 5M below asking price...
