Some teams in the premier league have better fans than teams I've seen come to us and that I've been too. It's mor to do with the fact that, at least to Chelsea, this isn't as big as the CL final (and they are hardly known as the most passionate set of fans anyway). Liverpool fans are bound to be quite, they're losing in a game that would give them a domestic double.
The whole FL>PL fan stuff is a bunch of ball crap.

I've been to a JPT final before, Doncaster fans were silent, even when they had won the cup.

I've watched Football League matches in the regular season, the tickets are cheap, but the attendances and atmospheres are shit 9 times out of 10. The fans only ever show up when it's a derby or a key end of season match.

I wouldn't say that, but just because your team isn't as big as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United etc. and their tickets are a lot less than theirs doesn't make you a better fan. It pisses me off seeing some of the shit that gets posted like "I go to games, I'm a better fan" when that's not always the case.
It gives other FL fans who don't think like that a bad name.
