I was playing Skyrim yesterday and started hunting some mammoths. Two of them actually.

Fucking dragon appears out of nowhere, and shit goes to hell. It was fucking nuts. 2 mammoths fighting a dragon. Me shooting the shit out of the dragon with my bow. The second we kill the dragon the mammoths turn their attention to me. I booked it to this little house the mammoths could reach me in and shot the living shit out of one with my arrows, started doing the same with the other mammoth. Run out of arrows. Pull out my battle axe, yelled out "Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" and got to hacking. Shit was intense the mammoth finally fell and I was on hardly any life points left.

The whole battle took over 3 game hours to finish.

Yeah, it's pretty cool, these kind of games usually ends up with you being everyone's little errand boy(at least for me since I like doing everything and anything) but the dragons showing up out of the blue really gives it a random element. If you aren't prepared and at a low level your fucked.

Might actually go play a bit right now. I'll start that research paper tomorrow.

I find it amusing reading people's twitters. Nearly every single person's bio (or is it favourite quote?) has something to do with the idea that they have failed at some point in the life. However, quite disgustingly, these quotes excuse these failures, putting it down as "experience" and that said individual "does not regret it." It's this deplorable attitude, excusing mediocrity, that has allowed our society to become a collection of nobodies with no ambition.
