Sentimental stuff aside it isn't particularly that big a loss.

He played 14 minutes against Barcelona in 2008. I don't like him as a footballer, but he has my sympathies.

14 magical minutes, master RR. 14 magical minutes, filled with spellbinding tackles and a blood and guts performance that only a determined Scotsman, painted blue with nationalistic pride, could provide.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Glen Damon wrote:Best defensive midfielder in the world, dominator of the Barcelona midfield in 2008...gone.

Breaking news RR has put an end to Fergie's Old Trafford career. Shit manager and only has won 37 honours at Old Trafford for Manchester United.

I sense an imminent annihilation. You can take the great man from the forum, but you can never take the forum from the great man.Viva Ronaldo 7 wrote:RR only back and Alan has already put words into his mouth..

Funny how he has only returned now that United are now 2nd why did he not return when United were 8 points clear or even 5 points clear. And the title is not over yet, although i hope City win it.Viva Ronaldo 7 wrote:RR only back and Alan has already put words into his mouth..

I am deeply frustrated with Ferguson's behaviour, I needed a venue to express that frustration. If City fuck up the title from here that's their lookout, it's not something that Ferguson's responsible for, nor is it something he deserves any credit for. He's failed in every competition this season, particularly in his precious Champions League which he has won only twice in over 20 years.
What is it with you and past it old Scottish managers?

There is nothing contradictory in that, both are brave men that put their necks on the line to exercise their respective freedoms of speech.Alan wrote:You back mauro because he does not care what people say about him on the tinernet, and now you are backing RR.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
That is a classic Dalglish well that could be true, but auld Fergie being past it sounds just plain stupid. Fergie has made mistakes, but give me a break he has won 3 titles in what 4 season and lost two European cup finals to one of the greatest club sides we have probably ever seen. And United did have loads of injuries this season that did not help them early in the season, and had one of their best points return in the Premiership ever or for a very long time.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Alan wrote:Funny how he has only returned now that United are now 2nd why did he not return when United were 8 points clear or even 5 points clear. City have spent millions aswell lately and Fergie and United are sitting level with them on points, so to say he has past it is just wrong.

Last year there was no serious opposition when he won the League, and there was no serious opposition in the European Cup. This year City have presented a challenge and he has crumbled despite holding an 8 point advantage with 6 games to play. United's showing in Europe has been nothing short of a disgrace either, going out to a side who Bayern Munich scored 7 past, not to mention the domestic cups.
How can you defend leaving United reliant on Anderson and Fletcher for midfield energy, given their problems?

Not sure just yet, its late here in my retirement home and its got to be something really good, because i dont want to offend any off them. Give an old man time to think, because if i get it wrong mauro will give me more abuse about being old and tell me my wheelchair needs fixing.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
De Gea is a liability in this country by the way, referees very rarely punish obstruction. Tevez was blatantly impeding him today on the goal and it doesn't get called, when Phillip Dowd did call it on the Captain of Wigan in another pathetic United defeat the greatest manager of all time oversaw he was vilified and hated for it. It shouldn't be this way, but while De Gea is our goalkeeper we effectively don't have a goalkeeper on corner kicks, we should have stuck with Lindegaard and Kuszczak.

It's normal that we would have higher expectations than a mid-table club.

Losing the title on GD must feel really bad, I wonder if we're going to have to experience that, generating the exact same number of points as a team and losing the title, crazy to think about.
