I guess yeah.
I think Swansea will be more motivated than Sunderland anyway. Brendan Rodgers seems like he's constantly trying to prove a point, also seems quite 'defiant' for lack of a better word. I remember hearing that his philosophy is to believe that he can win every game and try and instill that in his team too. Sunderland, on the other hand, have tons of United old boys.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Both are really tough games and that final bit is not true..well it is but you're trying to say they'll roll over. They ALWAYS give us a very tough game. Last season they held us to a 0-0 draw, the season before that we just about won and the season before that one we just about beat them 2-1 thanks to Macheda's goal. They're tough opposition for us, that thing that Sunderland will let us win easily is not true. Even this season we struggled to beat them at home.Zzonked wrote:Kuled wrote:Finishing above Liverpool? Why does Michael Owen keep saying stuff? I swear he's said the same thing like 6 times over the course of the season

He's probably been asked questions and just giving an answer.. MUTV asked him something, it's not like he could say get lost I don't want to say anything.

It's called denial. He's done, but he doesn't want to be done. At least he's getting some trophies in his twilight years.

"I can't imagine myself getting back and starting in the 11," he told MUTV.
"My mindset has got to be get myself ready mentally, physically and everything else because I might be needed for 10 or 20 minutes at a late stage of the season.
"Who knows? It could be the last game of the season at Sunderland. I might have built up enough, whether playing in a reserve game or two, and then that's fine.
"But I think the immediate thing is to get myself mentally ready, just in case the manager says, 'I'll put you on the bench' or whatever and I'll come on for 15 minutes and try to nick a goal if we're struggling."
Also there is nothing wrong with that.

£12m is too good to be true. If it by some miracle is true, then we need to pay that and get him ASAP.
