Who do you see as your main rivals, Liverpool or Man City?

It's felt like more Liverpool over the years, but it's turned to City quite a lot, both are main rivals, in different ways.King Carlos wrote:Who do you see as your main rivals, Liverpool or Man City?

Hate that if you win the title away from home you don't get to lift the trophy there, lifting the trophy at the Etihad would be brilliant

It's better lifting it at home. Although it does feel weird winning it, celebrating but not getting your hands on it.

Yeah it has to be on the final day, a perfect example of winning the title away from home but with a home game still remaining was last season when we won the league at Ewood park.

Won it because of another team twice, last day, and at home.

Hope you do win the league now.
I don't like it when teams kind of 'buy' the title, If you know what I mean.
Also, Carrick has been great this season in my opinion.
He should definitely go to Euro 2012. No question.

I think 06/07 was the same right? We didn't lift the title at Stamford bridge but we did on the final day (home game against West ham)

He probably won't because most England managers seem to have a retard moment when picking the squad. Even when he's the most in form midfielder we have.

Yeah, but we were confirmed champions due to another result, same as 2003.Kuled wrote:I think 06/07 was the same right? We didn't lift the title at Stamford bridge but we did on the final day (home game against West ham)

Would it be possible/realistic to have it won before we play City? They'd give us a nice guard of honour then.

Do you reckon they have a few replica trophies? What would happen if you and Chelsea were level on points on the last day both playing at home? Surely they would need to have a trophy at both grounds so the winner can lift it straight after the game.

Isn't that what they did in 2008? Had the real one in Wigan.

The real one goes to the team that are in poll position to win it.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Do you reckon they have a few replica trophies?
