I didn't know about this until using Silva in FIFA a few years ago.

Well I wouldn't say that. Egypt is like 90% Muslim. I would assume even the non Muslims speak Arabic (?), and most of North Africa and the Middle East do too. So considering that it's about a name, which to an extent like with Europe can be similar over many different countries....it was relevant. I could of said "Arab" instead, but usually just saying "Muslim" with a clear enough intent is enough.

I remember playing cricket at school and......despite it being one of those plastic balls......the batsmen hit the ball so fast that when I tried to catch it, it hit my extended pinkie head on at the tip
You were doomed from the start

That's pretty stupid Bogdan. You can break your hand like that.
Unless catch for you is just lobbing the ball back and forth. When I play catch I fucking rocket that shit.
By the way, going to forever imagine you as this kid.

Re: Chat Thread
A few years ago I was at the park with my cousin and we were taking turns batting and pitching. I was pitching and just launch the ball at him and I guess he didn't like the pitch or whatever so he sticks his hand out to try and catch the ball.
We had to stop playing because his hand swelled up.
I like how he pretends that didn't hurt like hell.

Maybe, though it didn't really look that fast.

Re: Chat Thread
I know Cricket is played barehanded so fuck that shit, but I've always thought I'd be the shit at that game. Batting in cricket is much easier than in baseball and I had a .350 batting average in highschool. Not bad for a catcher.
Of course it's all relevant to who you are facing, some of the better players were batting .400+.
I had a friend who play softball for the girls team and shit, her batting average was .850. That means out of 10 pitches she was hitting 8.5 of them.

If you cushion during the catch it's not that bad. But no way that guy had any cushion. Probably couldn't use that hand for a week after.

"Ishallah" is used in lots of cultures.
"Si Dios quire..." was used so much in my childhood.
