The founder of the Brotherhood wasn't named Akram. I don't know who you are talking about, sorry.

Akram isn't that common. I personally know only like 2 Akrams and there are a few famous Akrams. It's still a bit funny trying to ask someone if they know an Akram in all of Egypt.

Lu❣️s Suarez wrote:Akram doesn't sound Arabic. Sounds like something more to the east like from Iran or Central Asia.

It is Arabic. It's a form of the word "Kareem" which means "generous".

Not off the top of my head. I did a quick Google search and came up with Akram Al-Shaer. Maybe he is the one you are talking about?

You got stomped on. You acted like it was the most popular name in Egypt and then the person actually from Egypt says it's not actualyl and he only knows a couple.

Almost exactly contrary to what you tried to say

Also, im not familiar with the "top ten name lists" of each country, particularly a place like Egypt where to be honest a lot of their names are pretty rough (like a lot of the ME)

I think a lot have Muhammed somewhere in their name, simply for religious reasons.

What possesses them to then give their child the first name Mohammed is beyond me though.
