Akram isn't that common. I personally know only like 2 Akrams and there are a few famous Akrams. It's still a bit funny trying to ask someone if they know an Akram in all of Egypt.

Not off the top of my head. I did a quick Google search and came up with Akram Al-Shaer. Maybe he is the one you are talking about?
