Goodgled it, sounds interesting, I'll make a note of it(like literally) and keep a look out for it, next time I go to a book store or library or something.

You like fantasy stuff? You ever read any Terry Brooks? Like the Sword of Shannara series? I read those a long time ago, remembered they were pretty good. He's an old guy, wrote those in the 70's I think.

Can't say I have. Or maybe I have and I just don't remember. Laughing

Fantasy is probably my favorite Genre in anything. Unfortunately I don't get to read much of it. I really like reading to but it's sooo easy to do anything but nowadays, used to read a whole lot more when I was poor. Neutral

He was a total badass in that movie. Now that I think of it, comparing the movie to The Professional would make an interesting study. They're both quite similar.

Egypt's Olympic team played a friendly against FC Basel today. They won 4-3. Mohamed Salah, who is moving to Basel in the summer, scored 2 goals. Laughing Like I said, Gordon. Egypt's got this. smug

My hopes for the Mexican Olympic football teams are not very high. Arguably the most talented squad we've ever had. Filled with players who are all starters for their clubs but the team is awful, they play like they don't give a shit. I blame the manager Flaco Tena, he's not a man manager. That's kinda important especially when it comes to young players.

    That and he's too conservative.

Shame. The US seems like they'll do well.

Went through the national animals list on Wikipedia. Mauritis' national animal is the dodo. Laughing Quite a few countries have extinct or mythical creatures as their national animals. Most of the others have multiple animals though, only Libya and Mauritis have only one animal, and both of them are extinct. At least Libya's is the Babary lion.

    But the dodo, Mauritis. Seriously?

Egypt's Olympic team has a really good midfield and attack. But they have given up some really stupid goals in the recent friendlies against Spain and Basel. If they can sort out their defense, I think they will reach at least the quarterfinals.

That's funny you did that. A few weeks ago I did the same thing. It all started because I was writing about the symbolism in this piece.

And noticed the Gaelic Rooster, and I started wondering about it's history so went to wikipedia. Laughing

Some of these "Injustice Facts" sound so ridiculous, that I have to research them.

"Fanta was invented specifically for the Nazis, there was a shortage of syrup, so Coca Cola made a fruit-flavored soda."

@ahly: Yeah, but still...it's the dodo. The symbol of weakness and an inability to survive. Not exactly an inspiring national icon. Laughing

@Che: Reminds me to look it up as well. Always wondered about that.

They sound ridiculous but they are true.

Fanta originated when it became illegal to import Coca-Cola into Nazi Germany during World War II due to a trade embargo.[2] To circumvent this, Max Keith, the man in charge of Coca-Cola Deutschland during the Second World War, decided to create a new product for the German market, using only ingredients available in Germany at the time,[2] including whey and pomace – the "leftovers of leftovers", as Keith later recalled.[3] The name was the result of a brief brainstorming session, which started with Keith exhorting his team to "use their imagination" ("Fantasie" in German), to which one of his salesmen, Joe Knipp, immediately retorted "Fanta!"[3]

I think me re-tweeting injustice facts is making me lose followers.

People don't like hearing the truth. They are perfectly content living in their little fantasy world where the worst thing to ever happen to them is Apple delaying the launch of the ipad 2.(don't know if this actually happen just making up a scenerio) -_-
