I only mentioned Juventus because they have a player that I wanted in return. Honestly I do not see Theo leaving England if he does leave Arsenal. He will be remaining in the PL if he isn't playing for Arsenal.

    That makes sense.

Whom do you want in return, and where in England would he go?

I want Chiellini, but if Juventus end up winning the title this season he won't be going anywhere. He is a far reach, but I have wanted him at Arsenal for a good minute.

As for Theo, his destinations are very limited due to his wages and the price we would want in return. Liverpool and Chelsea are two places I could see him playing if he left Arsenal.

    Yeah RVP is a badass.

Do you guys think he'll be sold? It'd be hard to blame him if his head got turned by the clubs that want him

So, after all that stress and all that worry, Arsenal basically got one more year, and about ten more goals, out of a player who had already peaked, and whose body had started to lose its ability to withstand the rigours of regular, top-flight football.

I do not agree with this part. Its like they completely forget he went to Barcelona, played out of position and still beasted.

Moreover, Arsenal also lost out on a huge amount of money. While we should perhaps be wary of taking David Dein's pronouncement at face value, the former director claimed that Arsenal had turned down two £50 million (about 70m euro) bids for Henry in the summer of 2006. Added to that was the size of Henry's final contract. The AST estimated that Arsenal paid Henry about £10 million
during his last year at the club. Not only had he got a notable bump in wages in his new deal, Henry also received a signing-on fee of around £5 million in his new deal.

I wasn't aware that he made £10m during his last season. That's some serious bank considering he only played a handful of matches. The part about turning down bids is nothing new though. Chelsea supposedly offered huge money for him also.

Is Arshavin going on loan really a good thing? It just means you have less players in an already injury lead squad.

They are to pay the rest of his wages, and £1 million for the loan.

Walcott was very impressive, though, a few years back. He just hasn't developed much, while Bale has improved very well during the last few seasons.
