Got to wonder if you'll be seeded for next season's tournament the way things are going. If you qualify that is, which is out of your hands to a certain extent.

The scoring for Coeffiency is pretty weird. Porto got the highest in Europe last season, followed by United, followed by Barcelona. With hindsight, you'd certainly have been better off dropping out of the CL into the Europa.

Yes. He's slowly proving himself to be an extremely average defender. Before his achilles injury I think he was pretty good though.

I personally don't blame Wenger for the performance
We all know the players just played SHIT. I know you could say it's Wenger's fault that some of them are even there blah blah, but yeah.
I read this article
http://www.theage.com.au/sport/soccer/wenger-ready-for-arsenal-cleanout-after-milan-debacle-20120217-1tcs8.html
Got my hopes up, but knowing our beloved Arsene, every players contract will be extended lol

I honestly wouldn't mind a complete wipe-out.. but really, with our style of play, it's hard to just throw in a bunch of replacements and tell them to play like the Arsenal we all love.

if we kept the core and bought a few GOOD players, it wouldnt be a problem . A part of being a good player is having a good passing range and being positive with the ball. Look at Arteta and how well he has done in his time with us

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
You will find that only a select group of Arsenal fans considered him to stellar. I've always said he was a good central defender, the best in our team, but I have also said I we should have revamped the back line plenty of times over the years. I've been wrong about Per thus far, but I am still holding onto hope that he will come good.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Are you guys going to admit I was right about Vermaelen any time soon?
I think this pretty much sums it up.Theo Filippo wrote:Wenger's awful team selection and Wenger's overall awful squad.
Its not his fault they played so bad, BUT it is HIS fault that some of these shit players have remained at Arsenal. Arshavin, Rosicky, Djourou, and a few others should have been gone years ago. Don't believe that article because Arsene has had many chances to clean up the team and make us a contender and has failed to do so. Since the start of this season my belief in him has been on the fence beause he just isn't showing any ambition to want to be a winning club. He is completely content with being average and in the top 4. Its excuse after excuse after excuse and other teams no longer fear playing Arsenal because they know they have a chance to get points. It used to be that teams (excluding Manchester United) would play Arsenal for a draw at the least and if they won then great, but now teams expect to win versus us and many think a draw is bullshit. We are not an elite club on the field, we are elite at a business, but on the field we are pure shit. It would not shock me if the day the season ends Robin hands in a request to leave.Paulinho wrote:I personally don't blame Wenger for the performance

Also I know I am probably the only one, but signing Eden Hazard would not do SHIT to correct our massive problems. Until Arsene gets rid of this desire to see his youth policy succeed, we are doomed as a club. Third best club in London.

Szczesny, Sagna, Verm, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Song, Wilshere, Chambo, Arteta, Coquelin (I might have missed 1 or 2 and Rvp is obviously leaving)
Sell everyone else and start again because our current squad is awful especially our back-up, I mean fucking Jenkinson, Almunia, Chamakh, Squillaci, C'mon Wenger sort it out.

It's difficult to change anything about you when you're one of the top strikers in the world/history of football.
Don't blame him.

I changed my mind, I want Jenkinson to stay.
I just found out he's a life long Arsenal fan and has been a season ticket holder for years, we need more players like him.

Not even that I just see potential
Maybe I understand him more because I'm the best defender in the watford friendly league , he just got thrown into the deep end after playing non league football and even though he has been carved a new arsehole multiple times he improves every game, I can see it.

Put Song in defence and play Coquelin in midfield.

Song is clumsy as fuck though. He's a good DM but he's always been shaky at CB. Plus Coquelin will probably need to fill in at fullback for the rest of the season now
