Yes of course right it off as trolling, Sagna simply isn't the best right back in the league.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I give up.
How many times have I seen 'Hopefully this gives them a kick up the arse and brings them into reality'
The current squad are at a point where they're past caring, when we were 2 or 3 down I didn't see one player clapping their hands, shouting, getting the team into order or leading the team by working their bollocks off. Not one.

Big mistake starting Walcott, Arshavin would've done more than him.

Yeah, not bringing Henry on at half time was a big mistake as well.Danno wrote:Big mistake not starting Walcott, Arshavin would've done more than him.

I think we need to literally kick them now.

It would probably still not do anything

I don't mind him leaving. As long as we get a good manager in replacement.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Remove 80% of the squad? You have fucking cracked. The following players certainly deserve to stay
Szczezny
Sagna
Wilshere
Ramsey
Song
Arteta
Arshavin
van Persie
Oxlade Chamberlain
And there are only 2 of those who are even debateable. There are probably a lot of young players who I'm overlooking as well, and I'm sure some of you will argue in favour of Vermaelen even though he's shit, Koscielny is a far better player though.
Wenger needs to purchase 3 new defenders, bring back Bendtner, play Arshavin in the correct position behind van Persie, bring in a left sided midfielder, get rid of Park, Chamakh, Vermaelen, Mertesacker etc. or make them squad players at the very best, and then you'd be in great shape.

Not really.
We had massive off field issues, which Arsenal don't have.
Now, we are fine.

Why the fuck should Arshavin stay?

Because he's exceptionally talented, a veteran and an international Captain with huge experience.

Arshavin needs a change of team not position. He's a good player when he wants to be but he doesn't really fit into the current Arsenal team. Plus we have better options to play behind the striker such as RVP, Wilshere and Ramsey. Bendtner has already stated that he will never return to Arsenal . Whilst I do agree Vermaelen and Mertesacker are not great, its silly to even suggests getting rid of them knowing that the replacement signings will be inferior or just shit promoted youngsters.
