"that devious Scottish cunt"? You seem to be taking something he did personally, you were talking about good and evil about a football match eariler. I think you need to have a lie down.

Dawson shouldn't start for England, and King's knees are trouble. Defoe, fair enough. But I'd prefer Sturridge as he's in better form and younger.

Be that as it may, your lack of a cool head is tarnishing your claim to be exceptional. You need to remain level-headed on these matters.

I agree King shouldn't play for England as I don't want him to permanently injure himself. Dawson should play for England, excellent defender. Although just back from a very long injury.ricky//habana wrote:easley91 wrote:

I don't personally think Dawson is better than what we have in his position currently, but I don't watch much of him so am happy to be proved incorrect if he is called up.
I don't think having Redknapp would be enough of an improvement on what we had with Capello to justify his selection as manager, but happy to be proved wrong there too.

His reputation is ruined in England, sadly.
What makes you think that?
He'd walk into any job except Man U in this country in my opinion.
If City hired him I'd be annoyed. I imagine so would Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea fans.

I am level headed - he is devious, his destruction of the career of John Barnes and stalking of Benitez and Hodgson's jobs shows that, he's certainly Scottish, and his conduct over Suarez and treatment of Arsene Wenger shows he is a cunt.

Re: Capello Quits
Harry has been around the English game what, 30 years? He sees English players every week, knows what the fans would want and works with quite a few English players already. I think he'd do a great job, just don't want him to go as he's done a great job at Tottenham.ricky//habana wrote:easley91 wrote:I agree King shouldn't play for England as I don't want him to permanently injure himself. To the people who say he'll bankrupt Tottenham etc. Daniel Levy is the one who sanctions transfers at the club, we have a wage cap as well. Levy will not let Tottenham go into administration. He knows what's best for the club and the fans.

Fuck this guy.
Let's be serious, you probably stood up and applauded while singing God Save The Queen when you saw that.
Which is obviously why I'm complaining about him?
I'd prefer an English manager over a foreign one, if that's all that separates them. Why not?...if it can be English it might as well be. But I'm not going to label all foreign people like that, that's ridiculous and wrong. Plus I didn't mind Capello as manager, his nationality didn't matter to me.

Most Capello wins came against teams like Azaerbijan and Spain reserves in friendly's, when the big games came, he fucked them up.
Fantastic club manager, not very good international manager

Mexico, Egypt, the US, Cameroon ect. aren't going to win the World Cup in 2014. Might as well not even show up for qualifiers.ahlycotc wrote:It's not like England were going to win the EURO 2012 anyways.

In my opinion the players fucked it up. Especially Green, if he'd had safe hands we'd have played Ghana instead of a far superior Germany.
But the writing was on the wall for that tournament when we needed two own goals to beat Japan.

Well, selecting Green was his decision. It was obviously the wrong decision. Green deserves the blame for being shit. Fabio deserves the blame for selecting a keeper who was shit. In his defense, his only other viable choices were James or Hart. He elected against selecting Hart because of his lack of experience. But Hart obviously is good enough as is. Managers need to recognize that.

Re: Capello Quits
What, we're counting an opening group game against USA as a big game now? Well then the Final game against Slovenia must be a massive game, and he won that. What about the games against Croatia? What about the games that saw us qualify for Euro 2012?

Capello cannot be blamed for that mistake, it's not his fault. What happened the last time an English manager selected a debutant because he was obviously good enough? It was Scott Carson and he had a holocaust, his career never recovering. If he'd picked Hart for his competitive debut in a match like that, a mistake would have been just as likely, if not more likely to make a mistake. The other choice? David 'Calamity' James.
It's not Capello's fault that English goalkeepers are shit. He selected Hart, as was right to do, when smaller games came around, in order to get him established and stand him in good stead for Euro 2012, where he will be undisputed No. 1.
