Average rating of 8.2, scored 8 goals in 8 matches and added 4 assists in the same time and Bordoni is completely ignored by Roberto Mancini.

Same layout as JP Woody's Germany style tactic.
I was impressed until you said that. Hate it when people use tactics off websites then go around boasting they are doing something amazing on FM.

Never been injured, plays every match and always performs. Doesn't seem to matter much

Try to look after him a bit, with that natural fitness any injury he gets will hamper his development. I know if it was me i'd only use him for games against tough teams or if I needed inspiration off the bench.
Gotta remember, weaker teams tackle harder to make up for the difference in talent.

correct me if i'm wrong guys but i believe natural fitness affects the rate of "condition" recovery in between matches. not sure what it does in-match if anything

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Natural fitness is to do with injuries. Low natural fitness = more chance of muscle injuries or getting injured by challenges. Think of injury prone players and check their natural fitness on FM.

He's been playing regulary against smaller sides since he was 16 though, he hasn't really taken any damage from it so far

You'd think so but he's rarely below 95%.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
totti is 36 years old in my save (turning 37 in a few months). he has a CA of 132, yet i'm still starting him practically every game over the likes of Eriksen, Candreva, and Borini
imo, AMC/Trequartista is the best position for an aging veteran to play. the player doesn't need to press and doesn't need to make runs. just stand there and spray passes and pop some long shots once in a while . and get some easy assists/goals from set pieces
Totti , but tbh, i'll be relieved when he retires in FM. my youngsters aren't getting enough playing time because i'm too stubborn to bench totti

I'm doing well with Norwich. In January so far I've signed Jack Butland and Nathaniel Clyne
and currently trying to get this amazing looking Ecuadorian guy (well South American, I think he is from Ecuador)

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
So i have signed ganso and i've decided to not sign any defenders, I might loan in a lb just in case but i'll wait to see how everyone performs.
I'm going with a 4-2-2-2 (favorite formation)
Aiming for top four. Letsgo.
It is totti You can't not start him

I'm trying to improve QPR's youth setup. It is absolutely hopeless right now.
Just poached a youngster from Arsenal.

Abou Diaby = 13
Kieran Gibbs = 15
Arguably the 2 most injury prone players in the Premier league...
Higher natural fitness = faster recovery during match days. Faster recovery from injuries. Better at improving physical attributes.
Along with determination natural fitness means the player will train harder and will decline slower with age.
I may be a noob at the game as FM12 is my first proper FM game but I know my shit

Hmm, maybe I just tied it in with the fact VDV always get injured for me, along with Robben. I hope you're wrong though, i've let players go because natural fitness being low thinking they'd just get injured all of the time.
I also let superstars go with low teamwork and workrate if they aren't an AMC.

I think being injury prone is a hidden stat (correct me if I'm wrong).
Gibbs has 15 NF but he's always getting injured

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Ffs. I let go of a 19 year old striker on my Marseille save who was almost at the level of Rooney. He had 6 natural fitness. I did sign him for 450k from Ligue 2 and sold for £16m but that isn't the point.
