    Price tag rising Cool.

Do you still have Zigic btw? Thought he was going to leave in Jan.

He has great potential but he is no where near as good as the TV commentators have made him out to be.

Yh we still have Zigic as no one wanted to pay his £60,000 wages Laughing He has been injured the last 2 games though.

Apparently a Birmingham fan was battered to death by 2 Pompey fans tonight.

Hope they get a points deduction.

Incredible night, was always confident when we went behind because we have character and never give up. Great atmosphere in the home end as well, was singing all night long. Billy Clarke looked decent, and with Sanchez Watt and Tyrone Barnett I doubt we'll miss Tubbs that much. Heard Tubbs scored for Bournemouth tonight, so congrats to him, he'll show League 1 that he deserves to be there and can still score goals. Sanchez Watt was such a great signing, incredible. Can't wait to see the goals, Barnett's first and our second was quality! Not sure how Cheltenham scored their goal and not entirely sure what happened in the dugouts for both managers to be sent off either. But it is Evans and I not that surprised. Laughing Credit to the fans who travelled from Cheltenham despite the weather and possibility of the game called off. I reckon there would've been more in better weather and on a Saturday.

Chant of the night for me personally - 'he plays on the left, he plays on the right, Sanchez Watt makes Messi look shite!' Laughing

And most importantly, we are top of the league again! With a home game on Saturday (weather providing) we should stay there. Smile

How did we look? It sounded like we got outplayed, and all of your goals were crackers. Fair play, that's our first away defeat since September as well. And did our fans make any noise? We took 374 which is respectable in the circumstances.

Massive game for you against Swindon next week. I have no idea on how that will turn out mind.

Only bit of noise I could hear was after you scored the first. They were crackers bar our 4th, especially Barnett's first. Would love to see it again! For the most part you were outplayed and we could've had more. Tonight showed that we can play it on the deck and play well while doing it.

Swindon is massive, but I'm not confident as it's away. Swindon look very good, but before then is a home game with Aldershot.

A man has been fined and banned from all football matches in the UK and abroad for three years after assaulting a steward during the Cheltenham Town fixture with Bristol Rovers at Whaddon Road last month.

Richard Talbot, 45 and from Stanton Close in Bristol, was handed the three-year football banning order, fined £350 and ordered to pay £50 to the steward after pleading guilty to assault by beating and possession of class B drugs at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court today (February 9).

Talbot was one of a number of Bristol Rovers supporters ejected from the ground by stewards and police officers following disorder when Rovers scored the first goal on January 21.

Talbot ran back towards the ground and assaulted the steward, a 29-year-old man from Cheltenham, by kicking him in the knee.

Amphetamines were also found on Talbot when he was arrested.

The football banning order means that Talbot will be not be able to attend any match in the country and will be required to surrender his passport when certain fixtures are played overseas.

PC Mark Smith, Football Intelligence Officer, said: “Police and Cheltenham Town FC strive to ensure that Whaddon Raod is a safe place for all ages to come and watch football.

“Behaviour of the sort displayed by Mr Talbot will not be tolerated and I hope shows people that we will prosecute offenders where necessary.“

Three other cases involving men charged with offences during the match were adjourned at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today.

Paschal Hope, 59 and from Oldland Common in Bristol, is charged with common assault in connection with a spitting incident at the game.

Daniel Poole, 20 and from Whittucks Road in Bristol, is charged with entering the playing area. The case has been adjourned until March 29.

Jake House, 21 and from Lime Road, Bristol, is charged with throwing a missile. The case has been adjourned until March 23.

Horrible Rovers fans. I mean, what man kicks a poor steward in the knee Crying or Very sad

I'm pretty sure we do have it, last time it snowed anyway we were one of the few games that survived. Well the new temporary manager factor will play a part, think we will be up for it seeing as its his first home game plus he has 3 games to prove himself as a candidate so he will want a big performance.

    Championship: Chris Hughton - Birmingham
League 1: Chris Powell - Charlton
League 2: Martin Ling - Torquay

    Powell
not worthy He's definitely one for the future, I can see him bringing Charlton back to the prem.

I remember a few year back when Charlton were in the prem all these "professionals" were saying that they would be in the Top 4 and can become English giants. rofl rofl
