I'm in Leeds pretty close to Bradistan and it's fine here. Fucking freezing but no snow, hasn't rained for about 2 weeks now.easley91 wrote:Poyet spoke sense when he was at Tottenham
How far is Cheltenham from Crawley? would hate to make a journey like we did to Hull last week only for it to be called off at 2.30.
Anyone know if there is snow in Bradford at the moment? Guess I could check myself, but that would be being smart which contradicts being a Crawley boy.

I think the Ricoh is one of the only grounds in the country never to have had a game called off
Won the last 3 at home in the league and need to pick up points against teams like Ipswich.
Oliver Norwood on loan could make his debut. Know nothing about him but according to the Man Utd squad profiles he is a creative centre midfielder who possesses both vision and passing accuracy

LUFC twitter ban lifted apparently. Not sure of anyone other than Somma, Sam and O'Brien who have it.

Weird beig up earlier on a weekend than I would be for work! Time to book the taxi, get a shower and a quick bite and the party may commence!

Well maybe not ....but I heard we were better in the first 20 minutes and the dubious penalty changed the game.
THE Club is looking forward to welcoming both Watford supporters, and travelling fans from Barnsley, for today's npower Championship fixture at Vicarage Road.
The game is good to go ahead and the Hornets' undersoil heating is in operation due to the current freezing weather.
Watford's Ticket Office has been open since 9am and is welcoming personal callers at Vicarage Road.
According to current forecasts, snow is expected in the area, however it isn't due to land until after this afternoon's game (3pm kick-off).

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
POMPEY’S future lays in the days, not weeks ahead, according to administrator Andrew Andronikou.
His warning comes as he revealed last Tuesday’s transfer activity had left him ‘bitterly disappointed’.
Midfielder Ryan Williams was the only player to leave Fratton Park.
Mr Andronikou, the joint-administrator of the club’s parent company Convers Sports Initiatives (CSI), said there were offers for two players, and hoped to bring in between £1m to £2m from the deals.
He said: ‘I don’t know what happened. There were a couple of offers for two players which would have secured the club’s immediate future.
‘For some reason those offers didn’t happen and I am investigating why they didn’t. I am not happy at all. It gave the club an opportunity to bring in capital and could have got rid of the winding-up petition but it never happened.’
Pompey’s bank accounts were frozen after HMRC issued a winding-up petition over unpaid tax and face a High Court hearing on February 20.
Mr Andronikou said he is working hard to obtain a validation order to unfreeze the club’s bank accounts, which were frozen after the petition was presented.
‘It’s the same old story, we need to get a buyer’, said Mr Andronikou.
‘There’s interest but the frustrating thing is we have always had interest but it has been difficult to get them to commit.
‘We cannot continue in this fashion. We are doing everything we can to avoid administration. We have got days rather than weeks.
‘The situation doesn’t seem to be getting better – I cannot emphasise enough how serious it is.
‘It’s an important week because we need these parties to come to the table. We are not going to wait until February 20.
‘Liquidation is not an option.
‘Players and staff haven’t been paid but have been very supportive.’
Meawnhile the club’s fight for survival – which has sparked the fans’ 12th Man campaign – was given a boost after Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt said she is confident HMRC will agree to meet with Pompey officials. Prime Minister David Cameron said ‘we must do all we can’ to keep Pompey in business after the MP urged him to arrange a meeting.
She said: ‘HMRC now recognise it’s probably worth sitting down and talking things through and I am fairly confident we are going to get a meeting.’

Bradford v Crawley is off, and with Spurs on Monday I've got no team to support today! May support Martin Jol and Fulham as ESPN is free this weekend.

Oh, I figured it was him because Radford also follows him and CED said 'ced' stood for his initials...

Read on Twitter that the Crawley coach(es) got as far as Nottingham when the decision was made to call of the game.

It's snowing here. It hasn't set though. Wonder if the Leeds game will go ahead.
