Out sung Hull throughout, highlight being us to them - 'WE PAY YOUR BENEFITS!' Tubbs and the lads celebrated the goal right in front of us, we were 3rd row at the very bottom and pretty much had the row to ourselves. Lost my voice, but hopefully going REDZ bar for the draw later with a mate as Sky are going to be there apparently. And Sanchez Watt is going to be a great loan signing, made his debut from the start and played well, should've scored but hit the post.
Great result for Crawley. I know you won't like me saying this but I want you to get Stevenage in the 5th round, just to see a "small" side in the quarter finals. Never know, get stevenage, draw Leicester at home in the quarters then there is every chance of you going to Wembley .
Oh, and we took top spot yesterday in case you didn't notice

There were rumblings on the coach on the way back that you had won and went top, but neither us or Southend played in the league yesterday so we have games in hand, one of which is us against you.RubyArmyCTFC wrote:easley91 wrote:I'm back after yesterday's outing! I said in the FA Cup thread I want a London Prem side, preferably not Tottenham (but I will say now that I'll go in the Crawley end) or Brighton home or away for the derby factor.

This is the percentage of away support, in comparison to home support in League 2.
15.88% Torquay
15.43% Port Vale
13.25% Hereford
12.79% Wimbledon
11.78% Rotherham
11.11% Swindon
11.08% Oxford
10.97% Plymouth
10.51% Gillingham
10.15% Crawley
10.09% Bristol Rovers
9.95% Southend
9.39% Barnet
8.88% Dagenham
8.64% Burton
8.49% Shrewsbury
8.48% Northampton
8.28% Aldershot
7.47% Crewe
7.38% Cheltenham
6.59% Accrington
6.39% Bradford
6.28% Morecambe
6.12% Macclesfield
Ours is dissapointing, seeing as we're having one of the best seasons in our clubs history.
Torquay's is excellent seeing as they are miles away from everyone bar Plymouth.

That's better than I expected, I thought we'd be quite low on the list. Proud of our fans, who are coming back to the club and staying it seems.

Not impressed with ours. A lot of it will more than likely be down to a very underwhelming start to the life back in league two.

Happy with that, considering how shit we have been the last 4 seasons.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Might be a bit misleading though that stat, it depends how many fans turn up at home! I'd say Bradford probably have one of the best away followings in the league with numbers, but seeing as they get the biggest home crowds it lowers their percentage.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Yes, but that's to be expected with the size of their home crowd. The stat basically shows which club travels best based on whole support.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nottingham_Forest_F.C.
Nottingham Forest are quite possibly the worst club in footballs history. They are based in the west bridgford area of nottingham (a city well known for being inbred). They have always been inferior to their main rivals Derby County who are based 14 miles west of Nottingham. On the rare occasion that Forest beat Derby the fans celebrate by getting drunk and having sex with their sisters.

We've sold Matt Tubbs to Bournemouth...
Just glad I got to see his last goal for us live up at Hull. I hope we have someone coming in now, as no-one has been more prolific for us in the last 2 years. Going to be hard to replace his goal tally. Heard Frank Nouble is on the cards permanently, so maybe we've sold Tubbs and are getting him in?

The BBC are reporting that you sold him for £800,000 . That's mental for a 27 year old who has only played half a season in the football league in his whole career. Not saying he isn't worth that as i've only seen him play once but it seems very expensive.
I expect you're gutted, but I'm delighted with this news. I read that Barnett and McFadzean have had offers from Peterborough and Blackpool. Would be a disaster to lose them at this time of the season.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Trust me, he is worth that money if it is true. I'll be even more gutted if we do lose Barnett and MacFadzean without any replacements with the deadline tomorrow. I'd imagine the board and Evans were smart enough to line-up a replacement in case of selling Tubbs. The only reason I could see Tubbsy leaving was because it is his hometown club, a club which we could very well play against next season. When he does come back to Crawley, whether against us or for us again he'll get a great reception. Only spent 1 and a half seasons with us, but in the words of Ray Wilkins - my word what a player. 58 goals in that time.RubyArmyCTFC wrote:easley91 wrote:http://www.crawleytownfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,11025~2593675,00.html
