Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Coke went to get the ball as he won the penalty and by the looks of it Schumacher went over pointing at him saying this is my penalty then they had a bit of a scuffle over whos it was then Sodje came in to save the day.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Where did you read that?ResurrectionRaddy wrote:I've heard Leeds are trying to sign Majewski for 300k Fuck that. Worth at least £2 million
Our best player in my opinion, most creative too. Wouldn't be surprised if he wants to leave though. Cotterill doesn't do creative football, so he's been frozen out of the squad completely.
I've only just changed my username tooYeah what was that all about? All a bit childish over a penalty...ShakerMatty wrote:Did anyone see Cokes and Schumachers scuffle last night? His replies on twitter aren't helping the matter..
Schumacher should be taking it though he is the captain so he has authority over Coke. If you want to see his replies to some people go on twitter and search @realcokes.

Poor game yesterday between us and Watford, however we are starting to steamroll teams with goals as we finally starting to take our chances....top 6 is looking good right about now

Apparently contract negotiations with Snodgrass have ended. Bates has killed this club in the space of a week.
"One more sale, we're on the pitch!" That looks ever more likely to happen by our next home game.

For fucks sake! He is our last hope of doing anything this season, give the man a contract he deserves! We have to pay Premiership prices to watch the shite so the least he can do is pay competetive Championship wages!

Loved the London Road terrace, it was especially bouncing after a 95th minute winner.
In fact I reckon that'd be the only good thing about relegation, more terraces. But I'm glad in every other way that we're out of League 1.

Just brilliant . Peterborough have the perfect stadium with two terraces behind the goal and two side stands. Should be made compulsory for all teams to have this.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Our plans for a new stadium are go as it stands (a bit late for me to post this as it was a month ago). It'll be sad to move away from the Mem, holds some fantastic memories.
20,000 seater for league two club is overly ambitious IMO. Hopefully we have standing areas, I hate being sat watching games.
Hate the idea of a jogging track, it will mean we sit further away from the action.

Will you end up ground sharing with us like you were supposed to last time?
All we have to do is kick Gloucester out.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
That is ridiculous. Bet Swindon lost a load of cash, must have cost a lot of money to open that whole stand, stock it with refreshments and steward it then they made about a grand tops on the tickets.
How far is the trip from Macc to Swindon?

If the deal didn't fall through, then us Cheltenham fans would have had to go in the away end at Whaddon when we played you later that season . Would have been a weird experience.
And John, I think Macclesfield to Swindon is around 150 miles.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
That looks a touch big for a League 2 team in a 2 club city. Looks pretty tidy though, and by the looks of it it's in the town rather than another new out of town ground?

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
It's only a 1,000 capacity smaller than Ashton Gate, all though they are trying very hard for a new stadium (last I heard the council turned them down).
It is a in city site, yes. It will also be closer to me. Doesnt make much difference, only 10 minutes or so closer.

There isn't one as of yet. The contract was only signed at the start of December.
Apparently it's an all seater.

Tent? The scaffolding is where the camera man usually goes on the FLS or our TV games.
