the fact he did it unbeaten is not important. the current manager and managers before have won the league.
sure this manager isnt gonna win the europa league but thats cause they faced Man City.. winning europa league is as much about having luck then any other knockout competition. i dont give manager much credit for cup wins. Jose never won the CL with chelsea, didnt even make the final.. does that mean he did a shit job at chelsea?
nothing ever proved AVB was a quality manager, 1 great season at a club thats better then every other club in that country should not be a reason to rate him. he was given a chance to prove himself at chelsea and he hasnt done it, he may be given time he may not be.. but ATM he is far from a great manager

its not just about individual matches, the draw can be kind aswell. as i said look at this year, they got man city, if tey got city last season they would have been knocked out, simple as
this manager never got a chance to do well in europa league.
Chelsea have no one but to blame themselves if they fail to make top 4, after signing an inexperienced unproven manager.if you are basing AVB beaing a "great manager" on his Europa league win then you are retarded and there is no point talking to anyone that thinks like that

If Man City were that good last season they would have won the Europa League. Yet they lost to the team who lost to the runners up. If Dynamo Kyiv were good enough to beat Man City then Porto would be as well.

mmm not really. every team is different and play differently against different teams Dynamo wouldnt play the the same way when playing Porto compared to man city
knockout cup competitions has so many elements every team that has won cup competitions can kiss their lady luck. especially europa league where teams are more even. as i said though having 1 good season in a team that is expected to do well does not make you a great manager. he has proven NOTHING. if he had done it consistently for few more years then sure
he MAY be a great manager but he may not be, it sure as hell too early to say: "He's a great manager though, Chelsea don't deserve him."
no point replying cause i am right, just let it go people. save some face

Can't blame them. The prospect of facing Townsend is frightening. (if he's eligible )

It's okay to admit that the allure and glory of the league cup was too much.

I wish we had some glory supporters tbh.
I bet in like 10 years there'll be a forum full of 'em... I guess I'll just have to still be on forums at 29.
