I reckon AVB is off tonight. The result wasn't as bad as I initially expected so I'm not that gutted.

Ramires is signing/signed a contract extension till 2017 in case no one knows yet.

What's so ridiculous about that?
I didn't say I wanted him out tonight, I just think he will get the sack.

Why would he get sacked before he's managed to even build a team? Not to mention the amount it cost to get him in the first place.FishnChips wrote:What's so ridiculous about that?

I'm not sure Roman is that patient. He's been particularly patient with AVB too.
It's not just a manager problem at all. Players have to take the blame aswell, especially some of the "old guard". It's clear AVB has long lost the dressing room, but we have been there before and as soon as the players want a manager out they will turn shite until he's sacked. This has to change and it should have changed this season, but somehow Andre thought he would give them a season to assess them and make a decision.
It's certainly mind boggling to see how, arguably the best midfield and defence in England has turned pants so quickly.

Since when did Chelsea have the best midfield? Maybe in 2008 which is arguable

They have probably had the best defense over the past few years up until now, bar maybe Manchester United.

I don't give a flying fuck whoever agrees or not. Especially those who support other teams. Statistic-wise Chelsea had one of if not the best defences in England, same as midfield.

Our defence in Ancelotti's first season was outstanding aswell...Big_Tihno wrote:FishnChips wrote:I don't give a flying fuck whoever agrees or not. Especially those who support other teams. Statistic-wise Chelsea had one of if not the best defences in England, same as midfield.

"outstanding" ? You Sir have an underwhelming interpretation of that word.

Feel kinda sorry for AVB, he's a very good manager and passionate as well, just is unlucky to have cunts like Terry in his dressing room, who somehow have a 'legendary' status with the fans. Lampard is actually a good guy but apparently has problems with AVB too, same with Drogba.

Re: Chelsea FC Official thread
Terry is hardly the problem in the dressing room, especially since all these dressing room 'problems' arose since he's been out injured.

Re: Chelsea FC Official thread
Outstanding comparing it to how it is now? It's not far fetched... With Mourinho we used to score one goal and lock the game up, and it worked most of the times. With Ancelotti we tended to secure the lead as much as possible while keeping a tight defence, we conceded more goals because we were playing in a more attacking manner, but our goals scored to goals allowed ratio was impressive and that season only United conceeded less goals but they lost one extra game.Big_Tihno wrote:

When Hiddink came to save our arses, our defence stepped it up most matches (bar Liverpool home in the CL and I think our last match against Bolton at home).
Last season we mostly did good but our problem was we couldn't keep up the goal scoring we had the previous season and it led to more draws.
In conclusion, our defence used to be a very tough wall to pass when locking a game up and waiting behind. It wasn't as effective when going all forward, but it still was pretty darn good.

You must have some elite status to know what goes on in there. Nice work.

We don't know for sure, but I agree with you. However, I think Lampard does have something to do with it, and if he does it would be a shame considering what he's done for us... But he would have to go.luke. wrote:Terry is hardly the problem in the dressing room, especially since all these dressing room 'problems' arose since he's been out injured.
In fact, anyone taking part in this dressing room problem should be sent elsewhere, be it JT or be it Lampard.
