If the players are somewhat inteligent, and I would assume they would be, they would realise that Evra's role in the entire thing is minimal. He gave a witness account, nothing more, nothing less. The FA were behind the suspension, they were the ones who charged Suarez, and they were behind the investigation. In no way did Evra do anything else than follow protocol.

I hate it when people think this is Suarez vs Evra. It's not, and it never has been. The only people who think that are those that don't understand how the FA work or how the entire process was conducted.

Evra was upset about what happened, and what he heard (negro), and told the referee that he was. This is by no means unusual, happens in just about 80% of matches, the difference is that Evra believed he had been called the n-word, thus making it instantly political (not from Evra, but from the FA's point of view). Ref asks Liverpool for a clarification by Suarez, and recieves it from Comolli and Dalglish. The FA looked into it and decided to take action. Aside from telling the ref "He called me negro" (which Suarez admits to), Evra hasn't done anything else in relation to that case.

    Anyway... They should.

Man United have won every game Mark Halsey has been the ref in for the last 7 years, apart from 1 draw.

    Okay, that's us done.

    Okay, that's us done.

West Ham, Arsenal (draw), Charlton, Southampton, Blackburn, ManCity, Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Aston Villa, Pompey, West Brom, Spurs, Everton, Liverpool (more fouls awarded Liverpool than ManUtd), Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Fulham.

    You'd expect that really.

Because of the fans, rather than the club itself? That's quite fickle, I'm surprised.

    I have a prediction.

Evra will get booed as soon as he gets the ball. LOUDLY.

Then people on here will act disgusted, as if they didn't know that was going to happen.

    'Liverpool fans are stupid/disgusting/pathetic'

'Why are they booing Evra for being a victim of racist abuse'

    Etc.

Imagine if it was Liverpool fans sending Evra a bullet, the whole thing would of been publisiced much worse.

Booing seems worse than Sending bullets according to the Media scratch

    Headlines would be ..

    Assassination at Anfield.
Evra fears for his life as Liverpool fans send him death threat.

    Never Evra again
Ferguson slams Liverpool fans, saying they should never attend a football game again.
