Stupidity? Come on, you've only got 3 players out, half our fucking team is out of this game and you ALWAYS step up against the big teams, Gerrard to score the winner. 1-0 Liverpool.

We haven't signed a superstar this month either, son.

Oh look, the United fans are getting their excuses in early. Our performance against City must have struck fear into them.

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
We've got a fair few key players out, no defensive midfielder, no able striker, Downing and Carroll, less recovery time after the last game, and De Gea has a solid chance of having a phenomenal game. We have it just as bad.

Fuck off, we've been talking about these injuries for weeks, they just won't stop Now we've got some big games coming up and we have so many players out it's going to be really tough for us. Not an excuse at all, just worried.Scott wrote:Oh look, the United fans are getting their excuses in early. Our performance against City must have struck fear into them.

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
Man United fans always used to go on about depth when arguing with Liverpool fans about which team is better. Saying things like, their 2nd string would get into our first team. Yet, when we face them with their 2nd string and beat them, it suddenly becomes 'we weren't at our strongest, that's the only reason why you beat us'.
My favourite though, was when VivaRooney aka resident twat, said something like, we never use our injuries as an excuse, then they lost against Blackburn and suddenly he was like, we had so many injuries, that's why we lost.

Maybe your players are being over-worked or not looked after properly. You've had too many injuries for it to merely be a coincidence. Maybe it's a ploy, so you have an excuse for City winning the title.

Better teams do often lose though, it happens in football. The better your team is though, the more chance you have of winning, so it's perfectly valid to say that we would be more likely to have won with a stronger side. Moreover when we did face you with a second string side, you were very lucky to get away with a draw, I don't remember you beating our second string since this forum or its predecessor came into existence.

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
By the way, for those of you who say you would prefer a defeat to a replay, on both sides, how would you feel about your team scoring an intentional own goal in the last minute if the score was 0-0?

Why do you keep saying we were lucky to get away with a draw? It was the other way round. We dominated you throughout the entire match and De Gea kept you in it. Reina had next to nothing to deal with, apart from an unstoppable Hernandez header.
We beat your so called 'second string' defence 3-1 last season.

I think you'll find only one person said that, why don't you take it up with him via PM?

Re: Liverpool vs Man United | FA Cup
people sayin they would rather lose then draw... so if you are losing by 1 goal going into the last 10 mins you wouldnt want your team to attack?? you wont be cheering them on to get a goal?

You just copied what RR said. Do you have the brain capacity to think of anything original? Or maybe you were unaware that he had already posted this, because it took you 10 minutes to type out this post?ViVaRooney wrote:people sayin they would rather lose then draw... so if you are losing by 1 goal going into the last 10 mins you wouldnt want your team to attack?? you wont be cheering them on to get a goal?

The comment i made got taken out of context, all i ment was i don't like replays, and we would lose at OT anyway, if we are 1-0 down, ofcourse i wan't us to score

How can you rather lose, then draw? Makes no sense.
Unless you meant 'than', in which case, go back to school.

Why would you want to score if you'd lose at Old Trafford anyway?

So we have more chance of winning in the remaining 10 minutes?

i meant that as a CLUB you idiot! i cant control what fans say so ofcourse i wasnt talking about our fans. out club never mentions it as an excuse after defeats. look at man city, Yaya goes to cup of nations or 1 injury and they are whining about it to the media going on about how they need to buy mroe players
as for me, i said we lost because of injuries... which is true cause we had midfielders in defense. thats not an excuse cause our players could have done better, but thats a REASON. ofcourse we are not better without our 1st choice players

No you didn't. It was clear what you meant, you even mentioned fans iirc. Stop backtracking.
