Recently Watched Movies

Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows - Not bad. Slightly above average action flick with good performances from the leads. Loses a bit of the refreshing originality of the first one and doesn't compensate for that in any way. Plot is also somewhat convoluted. It will appeal to many Guy Richie fans though.

The Girl with the Dragon Tatto0/Mission Impossible 4 - 8/10 each, both damn good movies to end off the year. Rooney Mara as Lisbeth... fantastic.

The Beaver - Great film. Surreal, humorous in places, and I thought it dealt with mental illness in a really interesting, but emotional way. 8/10.

Midnight in Paris - Great film. One of the much better romantic comedies of recent times. Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard are so likable. The supporting cast is also wonderful.

I fucking hate Owen Wilson, he's put me off to watching it, but it's gotten good reviews so I probably will anyway.

Scoop, Vicky Christina Barcelona, and Match Point were pretty good by Allen, he's had a solid 6-7 years

He's just one of those people who play the same character every film.

I think he's fucking hilarious. That's just me, though.

I completely disagree with your opinion regarding Owen Wilson. I'm not really a particularly big fan of Woody Allen films anyway. Scoop was meh, Vicky Christina Barcelona was alright and the one from last year (can't remember the name) was atrocious.

Hardly. And a lot of popular actors are like that anyway, it's not necessarily a terrible thing.

I can see where dena is coming from. Owen Wilson had some good roles in films, but he can be quite annoying. In the movies I have seen him in, he is never the star actor in the film.

I like him in some films, others I hate him. Just the way he is, I loved him in Drillbit Taylor.

It's a wonderful life, I was a little late to the party. Absolutely fantastic film though.

Watched Fight Club again a few days ago.

I thought the movie was good but the ending was really overrated. I do enjoy Brad's roll in the film though.
