Polska I've never even heard of him, and he's the best defender in your leage? Totally underwhelmed. I hope I'm proven wrong

But surely?...
The world renowned & famous Elekstraklassa and you have never heard of their best defender? I am shocked and speechless.

We probably don't hear about Polish based players or the league in general because there is little/no coverage of it in Britain.

There could possibly be some sort of swap for Benatia; just a rumor for now though.

Insigne has a lot of potential. He's been linking up really well with Immobile over at Pescara.

Ahahahawhatthefuck . That 3 syllables comment... Don't know what's more stupid, that or the David Weir one. Or the Forrest one actually. Or that bullcrap you were spouting about how if Celtic were a big club their merchandising would make them as rich as teams like Liverpool. Wow, so much to choose from with you isn't there FON-SEC-A?

Lille just met the buyout clause of striker Nolan Roux for €8m.

He didn't reject a new contract you idiot. The signing came right out of the blue, Slask weren't even in negotiations with him.Jelavic9|RFC wrote:Lus Suarez wrote:Yah. On a free.
Celtic and Rangers aren't bad clubs. It's not a much of a step up from our league but it's not a poor transfer for him. He doesn't have the potential to be a top defender in England for example, Celtic is about right, plus I'd imagine Celtic will pay him like 4x more than Slask would.
Lennon seems to be quite fond of him as well.
On a free because he rejected a new contract, wanted to take a massive step in his career. Get away from amateur football.

He's not the best defender in the league, not even in the top 5.
Besides, even if he was, it's not like our league has regular tv coverage or whatever, how would you know the names of Ekstraklasa players?

You said his motivation will have been to get an easy starting spot and there's too much competition. I have a feeling this guy is being brought here as fourth choice after Loovens and Majstorovic's contracts expire in the summer. Certainly no way he will come in and start straight away

He is the starter for Slask when he wasn't injured, but Slask have alot of good defenders, especially having recently signed one of our second division's best young cb, and having Lukasiewicz (who himself got pissed at the amount of competition he faced after his injury and went out on loan for half a season) come back to the side.
Fojut like I said earlier, is a good defender. He won't find it difficult to adapt to the UK having lived there for many years and given how fond Lennon seems to be of him, I am confident he will come in and fight for a starting spot immediately. We will see what happens next year though. Make him good, I always thought he had the potential to be that quality no-nonsense centerback Poland has needed for years now.

Let's hope so. When Slask played Dundee Utd I don't remember him playing but their left back Spahic or something looked quality.
Guest- Guest
I believe he may have been one of the multiple players unavailable against Dundee? Don't remember.
Spahic is a good fullback, but it goes back to the competition thing again, Spahic and 2 other of Slask's main fullbacks all can start readily in the center as well.
