Anyway, Galatasaray made a bid for Shaqiri believed to be in the region of 7m pounds. Shaqiri said he would consider it and Basel want about 12m.
Hope he doesn't go to Galatasaray, would be off the radar in Turkey and I don't think he will develop well there. He should go to a big club, I can also see him as a Reus replacement at Mönchengladbach, their coach is Swiss as well.
Looked it up -- his parents are Kurds.
He is but if he went to Bayern or United who he's been linked with, he won't get much game time. Especially Bayern, he will be purely a replacement for either Robben or Ribery, they get injured a lot but I think the kid might want to prove himself at a smaller club but still in a big league before he goes to a massive one.Jelavic9|RFC wrote:Surely he is better than those teams mentioned? What about Sanchez' replacement at Udinese?
Besides, Gladbach are doing really well, 4th at the moment and challenging for a CL spot. Udinese have Torje as Alexis' replacement I think.
