Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
He scored v Arsenal away 07/08 when we drew 2-2, he didn't particularly play well v Arsenal in the league and whether it was Cole or Clichy, he seemed to have problems, in the Champions League he ruined Arsenal though.

nice!!
the guys is still only 23. anyone that still hates on him talking about he wont get any better.. disgusts me. if he could just have a full season without injury (or no long term injury) it would do his development so much good

Oh the Daily Star, fucking hell, that's a relief. And he's going to be ready to play reserve football next year, absolutely phenomenal. The sad truth is, Ferguson will use this as an excuse not to by a midfielder in January.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
good, carrick and anderson midfield deserves its time
we are out the CL so no need to overspend in january since out midfield ATM is more the good enough to deal with atleast 16 teams in the premier league

So having an inferior midfield to 4 other teams in the league is acceptable ?ViVaRooney wrote:good, carrick and anderson midfield deserves its time

Unlike you, RR is a man who does not accept mediocrity

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
football isnt all about midfield
i was only talking about the CM players. and its 3 teams retard
for sure i will accept not being the best in 1 position if it leads to a development of players that have huge potential. people on this forum only know one thing it seems.. money money money. this is such a new generation forum with bunch of FIFA kids who apprititate nothing about football but buying expensive already made stars

Tbf, the game has changed. It's about buying stars and having some solid role players in today's game. Arsenal are probably the only team who are sticking to the traditional way

Not quite sure what your point is? To succeed in football you need to be strong throughout your team. Its clearly visible that UTD are lacking in central midfield.ViVaRooney wrote:football isnt all about midfield

Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Spurs, four EPL teams stronger than UTD in central midfield and midfield as a whole. Maybe even Newcastle with the likes of Tiote and Cabaye
Prioritizing player development over a stronger starting line-up is stupid. Like the dude above me said, Arsenal are the only team in the league who really do that now and look at how successful they've been in the last 5+ seasons...

and yet we are 2nd in the league with a chance to go top today... and the current premier league champions
thats my fucking point. our midfield is the weakest part of our team, doesnt mean much since every other part is so good. its an area where we have 2 young players with huge promise and if it means not having the best midfield for a season or 2 to develop these players i am behind the management all the way

yeah for scum clubs like city, madrid and chelsea
we spend money when we dont have any potential. but we dont buy players if it means it blocks the progression of a player with huge potential.
right now the 2 players that have that potential is cleverley and anderson, i would much rather see them given the chance then be replaced by £35m signing right away... give these players what they deserve, anderson has finally got his chance and if he stays free of injuries after his return then he will without a doubt get better by the end of the season and be better next season. Cleverley started out superb, just needs to more games to show what he can do
now that we are out the CL there is even more reason not to buy in january. this squad with fergie is more then good enough to compete for the title and even win it. league titles are decided on games against the "lesser" clubs, not the big games. ask Liverpool
