I'm not sure, we're on a good run of games. I'm actually expecting to inflict City's first defeat in the league on Monday.

if we had signed ONLY a midfielder this summer for £50m i would be fuming. wide areas needed more players and GK was a must and Jones is a world class player in the making (so sold oshea and brown to get him)Lindegaard
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Valencia Carrick Sneijder Nani
Rooney Berbatov
I'd be quite happy with that.PIG
Rafael Evans Smalling Fabio
Park Fletcher Anderson Giggs
Owen Hernandez
Res: Welbeck, Cleverley
Yeah, I'm not seeing the tragedy of having that squad.
see, fail already, sneijder cannot play CM in a 4-4-2. stop using FIFA to gather your opinions. and if we did sign him he would play alongside one of the strikers meaning the people in our midfield wouldnt change
also who said sniejder was available?
EDIT: i just saw oshea this is my ideal team if we could get whoever we wnated
De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Nani Carrick Modric Young
Rooney Berbatov

you putting valencia in there makes me wonder if you even watch us play... would explain alot

He'd be available if we bid £50m, that's for sure, and he can play CM in a 4-4-2 better than Giggs can.
Again, what's wrong with that?

1) check my edit
2) the midfield hasnt changed!!!
and Valencia has been shiet ever since his ankle break, as i said we needed another wide player. that team is arguably worse then what we have now cause one injury in the wide areas and we are fucked. playing giggs wide is worse then him playing center
you talk about bright futures and we go and sign one the best CB prospects in football in Jones and you are against it you are so clueless

How do you know he can't play there ViVa?
Also ViVa your comment about Valencia is very strange
http://www.the-playmaker.com/t4374-valencia-is-the-best-right-winger-in-epl
Jones is overrated he is an erratic player goes forward way too much, attacking defenders always get overrated.

Midfield is not good and hasn't been for years, and yes Murphy is an improvement on a Park/Giggs midfield. When I said improve I idn't mean "better than our best", but improve the general quality of the midfield squad. Our first XI midfield is average, but can hold their own, our second best midfield is rubbish. Murphy wouldn't make the first XI, but he wuild certainly be better backup than we currently have.
Midfielders who would improve us are:
Ricardo Montolivio
Javi Martinez
Marek Hamsik
Luka Modric
Christian Eriksen
Wesley Sneijder
Gourcuff
Kroos
Marco Reus
Marchisio
Ganso
Moutinho
Steven Defour
And that's just the ones I can come up with of the top of my head.

At least we can enjoy someone else getting raped in the final this year instead of it always being us.

I think Arsenal could have a good run in the Champions League this season, I think they'll meet Barca late.

Nothing confirmed yet.
"We don't know obviously at this moment in time," said Sir Alex. "We think it's certainly the medial ligament and hopefully that's the worst it is."

If Mourinho is available, yes. If he arrests the seemingly constant decline of the team, and starts to improve it then I will stop criticising him so much, moreso if he stops making retarded team selections and using shit tactics.

I didn't get to watch your whole game yesterday but saw people criticizing Nani. For me during what I saw, he was by far your most dangerous player, beating his man constantly.
Also, RR is that the formation you want? Again, I don't see all your games and I know he's hurt now, but I feel like you guys need Chich in there.

Criticizing Nani? He was our best player by a country mile.Mustangt125 wrote:I didn't get to watch your whole game yesterday but saw people criticizing Nani. For me during what I saw, he was by far your most dangerous player, beating his man constantly.

Don't think anyone was criticizing Nani, he was probably the best player on the pitch last night.

It's that Australian guy who said we need to sell Nani and send De Gea on loan.
