I think we do, yes. Second leg at home could be the deciding factor for us. A lot also depends on how each squad will look by that point.

Imagine him against Mertesacker and Santos

The defence is quite weak compared to most other title winning sides, at a push it could win the league but it would be a difficult title race.

I don't think it's weak at all. Sagna is the best RB in the league, Cole is the best LB in the leave, and Koscielny has improved a lot and Vermaelen is quality and Szczesny is quality. Although I suppose there are better CB partnerships out there. I'd say Koscielny and Vermaelen are better then Skrtel and Agger though. Song is possibly the best DM in the league, and the front 6 would be the best in the league.

How? Koscienly isn't the best, but, Vermaelen is really good, Cole in his prime is class, and Sagna is the best RB in the League.

Sagna is barely in the top five in the league, never mind the best, he's fairly solid at the defending part of his game if unspectacular while his attacking game is fairly mediocre.

Name better.

1)Micah Richards
2)Glen Johnson
3)Kyle Walker
Some may scoff especially on this thread about my choice of Kyle Walker, but he's an excellent Right back, very good attacker and a decent defender to boot.

The defense would be quite poor. Not the back 4 but the whole team defensively. Especially with corners if you think about it, Vermaelen is the only good player aerially . RVP + Adebayor could be helpful at defending set peices I guess?arsenalap11 wrote:Szczesny

1. That is 3
2. There is no chance any of them are better. Richards comes very, very close, and could surpass but you can't say Walker. Sagna has been good and consistent for 4 years now, Walker has played about 40 games with Villa and Tottenham.
